BGMI: Vikendi map is making a comeback in the Esports scenario

The map will be a part of the upcoming BMPS 2022!

This summer is going to be chillier for Battlegrounds Mobile India. One of the most popular and versatile maps in the game, Vikendi is going to make its comeback in the BGMI Esports scene. It will be part of the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series 2022. In the BMPS, we are going to see the top Esports players climbing their way to the chicken dinner through the icy terrains of the Vikendi. In this article, we are going to discuss the comeback of the Vikendi map in BGMI esports.

BGMI: Vikendi map and its different structures

An isolated Northern resort island in the shadow of Mount Kreznic, Vikendi was home to a wide variety of attractions, businesses, and villages. Vikendi is enveloped in dense/thick forest and another aspect of the island is its warm Mediterranean coastline and snowy mountains in the central area of the map. The map is inspired by Slovenia, whose landscapes created the visual design of the map.

Tourists can look to the future from the Cosmodrome, players must travel back to the past and walk with the giants at the prehistoric Dino Park and visit the aging Castle, or even take a tour of the winery. Vikendi is as beautiful, as it is dangerous. Survivors who are treading in these bitter cold lands will have to watch their backs even more closely, as the fresh snow is perfect for leaving behind footprints!

With snow and the footprints that players do leave behind or other players leave behind, the hunter becomes the hunted. The days are long on Vikendi, but it won’t be long before the sun sets and the auroras fill the moonlit skies.

Vikendi and its return to Esports: History and consequences

This map is very popular among professional Esports athletes. This map is known for its versatility and a great amount of loot. This map has some exclusive features like the G36C assault rifle, snowmobile, and Zima car. The rotations toward the safe zone are quite complicated on this map, due to the dense amount of holding spots. Matches on this map are fast-paced. The last time, when Vikendi was a part of an official tournament was back during the PUBG Mobile Pro League: South Asia 2020, where team Orange Rock Esports came out victorious.
