Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team announces the Dream Championship 2025, the seventh installment of the series. The championship will determine the best player for the game in the world. An equivalent of 10 million yen will be provided as a prize. Hosted by KLab Inc., the head-to-head football simulation game will bring the best players worldwide.
Captain Tsubasa Dream Championship 2025 to run a large-scale qualifier
Dream Championship 2025 will take place in three phases, comprised of an in-game Qualifier, Final Stage Tournaments, and Championship Tournament. The Qualifiers will consist of two stages: the Season Qualifiers and the Dream Team Cup Qualifiers. Competitors who pass these two stages will be joined by last year’s champion for a total of eight players to proceed to the Championship Tournament.
The Season Qualifiers will begin on the 31st of May 2025. This stage will feature Rank Match Qualifiers, where players will compete for Online Points that can be obtained through Rank Matches. The top performers in the Rank Match Qualifiers will proceed to the Final Stage Tournaments.
The Season Qualifiers will feature two stages, as mentioned earlier. The top two from the Final Stage Tournaments of each Season will join the top player from a Play-Off Round where the players that placed third in each Season will compete for a place in the final five.
The Dream Team Cup Qualifiers are scheduled to kick off in August. The top four players in the in-app events of both the Japanese and Global versions of the game will compete in the Final Stage Tournaments to win spots in the Championship Tournament.
In addition to the five players who won their way through the Season Qualifiers and the two from the Dream Team Cup Qualifiers, last year’s champion will join the ranks for a combined total of eight players to face off in the Championship Tournament.

- Rank Match Qualifier: From Saturday, May 31, 17:00 to Monday, June 30, 14:00
- Final Stage Tournament: From mid to late July

- Rank Match Qualifier: From Monday, June 30, 17:00 to Thursday, July 31, 14:00
- Final Stage Tournament: From mid to late August

A huge 10 million yen prize to be awarded to the champion
The champion from this event will receive a total of 10 million yen prize. But the prize pool will not only limited to the announced pool. Participants will also receive exclusive merchandise, in-game items, and more.
The contenders will be able to obtain more rewards in the Rank Match Qualifiers than in the usual Rank Matches. Players will also receive in-game badges based on their final rankings for each Season, along with Dreamballs and much more. Captain Tsubasa Dream Championship 2025 will be streamed live on the social media channels of the game, such as YouTube.
