Flash Party opens registrations for Spring Open, its first major tournament with $10K prize pool

Flash Party has opened registrations for its first significant NA tournament, Spring Open following the game’s successful launch on PC and mobile. On April 8th, players from across the North America continent will compete for a chance to earn a $10,000 prize pool/ They will take on some serious talent from the platform fighting game community.

The competition is a single-day tournament with a 1v1 double-elimination structure

An exhibition match between four well-known Smash Bros. titans will begin the tournament. This is a part of the brand-new, exclusive partnership between VGBC and Flash Party.

  • Void – currently the best platform fighter in the world.
  • Zain – the best Super Smash Bros. Melee player in the world.
  • Coney– the Smash Bros. community’s largest variety streamer.
  • Riddles – a top 5 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate player. 

Sign-ups are open here right now if you want to have a shot at competing against your favorite Smash professionals and taking home the $10,000 prize pool. There are only 512 participants in the game. A single-day tournament with a 1v1 double-elimination structure will be used. First come, first served registration ends as soon as all 512 spots have been taken.

Fans can watch Flash Party Spring Open broadcast on Twitch for gift codes

Fans can watch an accompanying Flash Party broadcast on the VGBC Twitch channel, dubbed “the Spring Open,” for a chance to spot Easter Eggs in the form of gift codes as the action develops. Players must keep a watch out for these because they can only use the codes while the competition is still running. Any player who finds the Easter Egg code can use it to receive the gift. Players can exchange these codes for hero card backgrounds.

The winner of the game’s competition will receive $5K and an individually customized in-game character, while the runners-up in the top 16 will each receive a portion of the prize money. The Flash Party team will use the winning player’s character and design requirements to make a unique in-game item that celebrates their victory as the first Spring Open champion.
