18 of the best Free Fire teams will compete for the title of world champion with the Free Fire MEA League Season 7 qualifiers to kick off soon

Garena revealed the initial preview of the fifth iteration of their renowned event, the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2023. The upcoming FFWS 2023 is scheduled to occur in Bangkok, Thailand, in November. The tournament will consist of two main phases: the Group Stage, spanning six match days from November 10 to 19, 2023, and the Grand Finals, scheduled from November 24 to 26, 2023.

Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2023: Schedule and Format

FFWS 2023 will have 18 teams and the matches will take place in three stages. Of the stages, the first one is the Knockout Stage will begin on the 10th of November 2023. By splitting into three groups of 6 teams each, the contenders will play in a round-robin format. There will be two weeks and each week will have 3 matchdays. A total of 6 matches will take place in a matchday. The top 12 teams will qualify for the Points Rush and Grand Finals.

In the next stage, Points Rush, 12 teams will play 6 matches a day for two days. This stage will start on the 24th of November and will end on the 25th. With the same 12 teams, the grand finals will take place on the 26th of November. A total of 6 matches will be played to choose the best team of Free Fire Esports.

The announcement regarding the remaining 2 slots and the regions participating will be made at a later time. During the Group Stage, a total of 18 teams will be evenly divided into three groups. Subsequently, the highest-ranking 12 teams from the Group Stage will advance to the Grand Finals, where they will engage in a three-day battle to vie for the ultimate victory

This year, 18 top teams from several regions around the globe will be invited to participate in the tournament. The slots for the grand event are from several regional leagues. The allocation of slots for the regions is as follows.
