So, the inaugural Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Super League (MSL) Thailand Season 1 has officially concluded, with Kings of Gamers Club (KOG) making history as the league’s first-ever champions. KOG delivered a brilliant performance at the grand finals and won Thailand’s Wild Card slot for the upcoming MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) at EWC 2026.
KOG dominates the tournament from start to finish
So, KOG looked really unstoppable throughout the tournament and completed the Regular Season with a flawless 9-0 record. And even during the Playoffs, the squad maintained its momentum with a strong bracket run. And before the Grand Finals, KOG eliminated one of the fan-favorite Bacon Time (BAC) with a clean 3-0 sweep in the Lower Bracket Finals.
Now, here is the KOG roster with a blend of Thai and Filipino players:
- EXP Lane: Chaiyakrit “33rd” Buangern.
- Filipino Jungler: Ken Louie “Kzen” Bermudes Pile.
- Mid Lane: Piyanat “Zed” Songsermpanit.
- Filipino Gold Laner: John Ryan “Payen” Bernacer.
- Roamer: Piya “Nyle” Sriwilat and Phongpanod “Hiwko” Rueangarrirat.

And in the Grand Finals BO7 against ACT, KOG completely dominated the series with a perfect 4-0 sweep. Kzen, the team’s Jungler, stood out as the Finals MVP with his clutch plays during crucial moments and also managed to stop ACT’s comeback attempt.
Thailand’s global esports MLBB journey continues
Moreover, with this victory, KOG is going to represent Thailand at the MSC Wild Card Stage during the EWC Cup 2026. Meanwhile, BAC and ACT will continue battling through the MLBB Challenge Mekong (MCCM) for another opportunity to qualify.
Plus, MSL Thailand Season 1 also represents a huge moment for Thailand’s MLBB esports scene. I mean, it marks the country’s first official MLBB league split since Thailand became the inaugural MSC champion back in 2017. And the tournament parts and sponsors include:
- True5G as the Official Telecommunication Partner.
- Infinix as the Official Gaming Phone Partner and Sponsor
- Richman Shop as an Official Sponsor
- DXRACER as the Official Gaming Chair Partner
- Monster joined during the Playoffs with on-ground activities and drinks for fans.

According to MOONTON Games, around ฿10,000,000 was invested into MSL Thailand Season 1 alone to support “social media growth initiatives, community programs, ecosystem expansion efforts, team incentives, watch party activations, and the tournament prize pool.”
Additionally, Thailand is also set to host future MLBB international events, including:
- MLBB Championship Tour (MCT) Southeast Asia (SEA).
- M8 World Championship Wild Card.
