Free Fire is going to commence the World Series (FFWS) Latin America 2025 EWC Qualifier from April to June. The event will feature a total of 18 teams and a huge prize pool. Besides, the top teams will get direct slots to the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025.
The battle royale title is closely following the esports roadmap for 2025 and is doing good work. However, the upcoming event will also be a significant milestone for Free Fire’s esports scene.
FFWS Latin America 2025 EWC Qualifier: Schedule and Format
There will be four stages in the esports event. Starting with the Regular Season, it will kick off on the 5th of April 2025 with 18 teams. This phase will take place for 8 weeks and 16 matchdays.
The top 3 will advance to the Finals, while the remaining 15 will advance to the Playoffs. With the 15 teams battling on the 31st of May, the top 3 will advance to the Finals while the remaining teams will go to the Repenchange.

This phase will also send 6 teams to the grand finals, making a total of 12 in the finals. The Grand Finals will kick off on the 14th of June 2025 with 12 teams. After playing for two days across several maps, the champion will be crowned on the 15th of June.

Prize Pool
The prize pool is huge, and it has many distributions based on several grounds. The overall prize pool of the event is $130,000. The champion will get the highest share of it, and the other teams will also share it according to their rank.
However, the MVP of the event will be awarded $1,000, while $1,500 will be given to each team that can accumulate the most eliminations in a single week. The prize distribution is different for the regular season and the grand finals. The distribution for the Grand Finals is as follows:
