The highly anticipated Honor of Kings Asian Wave (KAW) Season One is all set to arrive on April 27, 2023. The league will be inviting players from the Asian regions, where ten teams from Malaysia, Japan, the Philippines, and Myanmar will fight for the ¥500,000 total prize pool ($4000 approx.) in the coming 6 weeks.

Schedule

Honor of Kings Asian Wave Season One 2023 will kick start with the regular season.

The regular season runs from April 27 to May 28, with the matches followed every Thursday to Sunday till the end of the regular season. The Playoffs stage will take place from May 31 through June 2. The Grand Finals will take place on June 3rd, the day after playoffs.

Format

The Global Ban and Pick will be implemented in this league.

The BO2 (best of) double round-robin system will be used for the regular season during 20 match days. A win will award the team 3 points, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss. At the end of the season, the top two teams advance to the Winners Bracket.

The next four teams, which are the teams ranked from third to sixth go to the Losers Bracket, and the remaining teams are eliminated from the Playoffs. Using a BO5 double-elimination system, the six teams will compete for a spot in the Grand Finals.

The champion team will be determined utilizing a BO7 single-elimination system in the Grand Finals. The team first to win four games will be crowned the winner.
