Honor of Kings International Championship 2025, better known as KIC, is the grandest stage of the Honor of Kings championship. And to crown the world champion, the event is set to kick off with 16 global teams competing across all regional stages of the game.
Not only will the world be watching to see which team comes out on top, but it will also feature the top three teams competing in the Challenger Cup ahead. Level Infinite and TiMi Studios are going to be the organizers of the event. With a total of 16 teams, the offline event will take place in the Philippines. It will start and end in November 2025. Exact dates will be announced later.
Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC) 2025: Schedule and Format
The event will start this November and is scheduled to end in the same month. It will feature two stages, namely the Group Stage and the Playoffs. For the first stage, teams will be split into 4 groups of 4 to engage in single round robin matches in a BO3 format. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the playoffs.

In the playoffs, it will be played in a double-elimination bracket. The group winners will get the chance to avoid the first match. All the matches will be BO5, except for the Grand Finals, which will be a BO7. The exact date of each stage is yet to be announced, so check this article frequently to know more about the detailed schedule.
Prize Pool
The tournament will be played in the Global version of the game. This year, KPL is hosting a separate event with the Chinese teams only, so the prize pool is comparatively low. KIC 2025 will feature a million-dollar prize pool for the participants.
The offline final in the Philippines will mark the end of the event. Here’s the breakdown of prize pool distribution for the teams:
