Invalidos had taken the top spot and grand prize at the Free Fire Pro Series (FFPS) North America 2021 tournament, which had a total prize pool of $50,000. Their aggressive and assertive playstyle coupled with good decision-making made them victorious. They netted them a total of 298 points from 165 kills and 5 finishes at the first position. La Bahia PFS finished second with 187 points and Wasaka Esport lagged behind with 181 points. This was alarmingly a lot, despite being placed second and third respectively.

The event was streamed to Free Fire North America’s official YouTube channel and Twitch channel. The Finals took place after the Open Qualifiers, Group Stage matches, and Final Qualifiers. They were spread across three days with a total of 6 matches. 2 of these matches took place each in Purgatory, Kalahari, and Bermuda for each day which saw 12 teams battling it out.
The prize money for 1st place was $12,500 along with bounties for the player who had the most kills, which was Aczino from Invalidos. The player who had the most kills in a single game was also the same person, who picked up $500 as a part of prize money. Invalidos was the team with the average highest placement along with the BOOYAH trophy, for the team with the most 1st position placements.

Considering the fact that Free Fire is mostly popular in South Asia and Brazil, this was meant to be the start of their push into North America to build up a player base. This was the first Free Fire Pro series tournament hosted in North America. Therefore, Garena might be getting ready to set up the game for success in a region with a lot of potential for growth.
