Winner of the Clash Royale League 2022 World Finals, Mohamed Light (Mo), has been defeated by another sensation Bassotto who is the new CRL 2023 Season 6 champion. In the grand finals, the head-to-head battle between the top two players was taken away by the champion Bassotto by a scoreline of 2-1.
CRL 2023 Season 6 champion Bassotto has qualified for the World Finals 2023 directly by winning the event. Besides, a grand total of $16,000 also went into his pocket. He becomes the first one to knock the mighty Mohamed Light out of the event.
Bassotto’s champion run in Clash Royale League (CRL) 2023 Season 6
The final started o the 19th of August with the top 8 players from eight groups. In double-elimination brackets, players faced each other in a B03 duels format. Samuel Bassotto played his first match in the upper bracket quarter against Adriel from the Dominican Republic.
A 2-1 scoreline sets the winner into the upper bracket semi where he defeated Mohamed “Mohamed Light” Tarek in a clean sweep by 2-0. Then, he faced Mugi, the winner of the all-Japan upper bracket semi. Making the score 2-1, the champion stepped into the Grand Final.
In the grand finals, Mohamed Light again showed up to challenge the champion. But, with his eyes on the Clash Royale League 2023 World Finals, Bassotto was determined to win the ticket home. He conquered the number three position in the last World Finals. Thus, once again he is going to emerge stronger. The first game was taken away by the champion of Clash Royale League 2023 Season 6 while the second went to the hands of Light. But, against all the odds, Bassotto changed history after picking up a win.
Bassotto celebrated his victory with a massive prize money
A total of $57,000 was shared among the players based on their position. The amount that each player has bagged is as follows.
