Apex Legends Mobile: Playable Characters and Legends
Apex Legends Mobile is a hero-based shooting game. There are a total of nine playable legends, at the moment. Each of these legends has a unique role associated with them. Here are the four roles:

- Offensive Legends: These legends have special abilities that give them advantage during combat.
- Defensive Legends: These legends have special abilities that help the team to defend themselves or fortify an area.
- Recon Legends: These legends have special abilities that help them collect valuable intel such as enemy locations etc.
- Supportive Legends: These legends have special abilities that provide aids to the teammates such as healing.
Every legend has two main abilities, known as tactical ability and ultimate ability. Tactical abilities have a lesser cooldown and a lesser power compared to the ultimate ability. Ultimate ability, as the name suggests, provides the ultimate ability and can have a percentage meter, that goes up as the game progresses. Some legends’ ultimate ability has lesser cooldowns. It varies from legend to legend.

Selecting a Legend
- Once a player enters a game, they are given a total of 15 seconds to pick their character. All the teammates cannot choose legends at the same time. Instead, each player has to pick them one after the other. Each of them are given 5 seconds to pick their specific legend.
- It is very important to pick the right legend, since their ability plays a very crucial role in the game.
- Players can set their favorite legend in the lobby. Players who are picking second and last before the battle, can request for the legend they want.
Legend Perks
All these legends also have special perks and finishers, which players can unlock by playing a legend. Players can equip perks, to further get more out of their legends’ ability. These perks vary from legend to legend. This boils down to the player’s playstyle.

Guns
Currently, there are 24 guns in the game. There are six different gun types players can choose from. They are:

- Assault Rifle
- SMG
- LMG
- Shotgun
- Sniper

There are five different ammo types each of these guns use. They are:

- Heavy Rounds
- Energy Ammo
- Shotgun Shells

Game Modes and Maps

Apex Legends Mobile comes with different modes. There is a total of five different modes players can choose from. They are:

Tutorial Level

Multiplayer
Multiplayer is another mode that players can play in Apex Legends Mobile. There are two multiplayer modes, from which players can choose. Multiplayer is a great place to learn a legend and its abilities. Players can also try out different guns. They can also have different play styles, which they can adapt later in the battle royale games. They are:
- Team Deathmatch
- Arenas
Both these modes have three maps that rotate every 10 minutes. They are:
- Thermal Station
- Artillery
- Party Crasher
Team Deathmatch
In a team deathmatch, two squads of 6 players battle it out. The first team to reach 30 kills wins the game.
- Players can choose any gun of their choice. Players are also given unlimited abilities of their legends.
- Killed players will be respawned immediately
- Supply drops will be spawned for epic loots
- Shield will restore automatically.
Arenas
In Arenas, two squads of 3 players will battle it out. The first squad to four rounds wins the game.
- Unlike TDM, players cannot choose their guns for free. Players will have to buy their weapon of choice from the shop. They should also purchase their abilities and consumables.
- Material sources are the items, which is used for purchasing weapons and consumables from shops. Players get material sources in the start of the round and it increases as the game progresses. Additional materials can be obtained from killing enemies.
- There is also a ring, which shrinks as the time progresses, just like battle-royale.
Ranked Match
In ranked matches, players will compete in the same battle royale, but with higher stakes.
- Every season will last for two months. Rewards will be given at the end of the each season, based on their rank.
- There are 6 ranks in total, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Master. Each rank has a total of 3-5 sub ranks. Players will start their journey from Bronze and work their way up to master.
- Players can earn ranked points through assists, kills and match placements.
Miscellaneous items and more
Currency
There are two main currencies in Apex Legends Mobile.
- Flux: It can be used in the store to purchase packs and crafting. It can be obtained, through leveling up.
- Syndicate Gold: Premium currency, which can be obtained only by using real money. It can be used to purchase Battle Pass and Store Vault in the shop.
Club
A club is a place where like-minded players can form a club and play together. It is a place where players can discuss strategies and play together. Players can either join a club or create their own for just 30 Flux. As of now, there is not much functionality to the club. But down the line, we can expect more features.
