How to increase power quickly in Avatar: Realms Collide
1. Prioritize your Town Hall
Your Town Hall is the heart of your city and is the most important building, as it affects the advancement of all other buildings. So, you should prioritize upgrading your Town Hall to unlock new buildings, features, and more. Plus, always keep your builders busy to accelerate your growth.
2. Upgrade your VIP level
If you are unsure about how to spend your Gems, you should use them to upgrade your VIP level. Higher VIP levels provide various useful buffs that enhance your efficiency, including faster AR Recovery speed, Bender recruitment speed, resource gathering speed, and more.
Additionally, you can claim various rewards from the free chest. For instance, starting from VIP level 8, you can claim a daily Legendary Shard, along with other rewards like 2x Epic Shards, Epic Spirit Badge, Golden Scroll, and more. Plus, as your VIP level increases, you will also get access to better items in the VIP Shop.
3. Level up your Heroes and Avatars strategically
In this game, Heroes and Avatars play a crucial role in clearing Avatar Trial stages, defeating the Shattered Skulls in Expedition, and more. That said, don’t just mindlessly level them up. You should be mindful of managing Character shards and focus on upgrading Talents strategically to maximize their impact. And, make sure to also enhance their various Skills.
4. Join a good Alliance
Being part of an active Alliance is more than just social perks; it also speeds up your progress. By joining a good active Alliance, you can request help from your Alliance every time you upgrade a structure or do research, as their assistance greatly reduces building and research times.
Aside from the time reduction, you can also share resources, upgrade various Alliance research, and take part in group events and wars for rewards. So, you should look for active and supportive Alliances early on.
5. Maintain a balance between your Research and Building
While everyone initially focuses mainly on buildings, research is equally important. You should aim for a balanced approach between both, by upgrading key buildings like the Research Lab, Tunnel of Earth, Fire, Water, and Air, and more, while also progressing through the variety of research.
Even in the Research Lab, you should balance between upgrading the Economy and Military advancements. You should at least max out Masonry I for a strong foundation and then focus on the Military research, maxing all the Bending Forces I. Afterwards, strategically balance between both to ensure steady growth.
6. Complete the main, daily, and chapter Quests
Your priority should be completing the main, daily, and chapter quests. These quests offer huge rewards like speedups, resources, Character Shards, and other upgrade materials. You can then take advantage of these items to efficiently level up your city and enhance your overall power.
7. Clear the required Expedition tasks
You should also focus on leveling up your Expedition map by clearing all the required Expedition tasks at each level. You can earn various rewards for each task, including level-up bonuses and Gems. You can use these items to power up quickly and gain an extra advantage in combat.
8. Keep training your Benders
Benders from all four nations can be trained in the game, and you should make sure a steady supply of them is always available. These Benders are essential for clearing in Avatar Trial stages and battling against the Shattered Skulls in the Expedition map.
You should also make sure to upgrade the Benders to the Elder position in the Research Lab, for better performance in combat, which also allows you to beat your enemies easily.
