Brawl Stars was launched in China on June 9, 2020, nearly 2 years after the official global launch. It was an instant hit, amassing a whopping $17 million in just a week of release. Following the end of control between Supercell and Beijing Lexiang Ark Game Technology Co Ltd, Tencent Games took over the publishing duties of the Supercell Games.
Just like other Supercell games, the core gameplay remains the same across both the Chinese and global versions, with only minor changes. You’ll notice a few differences in areas like the shop, animations, and visual effects. Interestingly, rewards in the Chinese version of Brawl Stars also feel slightly more generous compared to the global release.

Currently, the game is only available to download on Android as an installable .apk file.

Here are the steps to download the game on Android.
- Brawl Stars can be downloaded via the Haoyou Kuaidao app store. To do so, you will need the App Client if you prefer using the store page. You can download the client from the link next to the Haoyou Kuaidao logo.
- Head to the Haoyou Kuaidao app store to get the Chinese Version of the game and search for Brawl Stars. You can check the store page here.
- On the store page, you can see the Download option. Click on it.
- If you’re using the website, a QR code will pop up. You’ll need to scan it using the client app to download the game, after which the download will begin automatically.
- Once you install the game, you’ll be prompted with an option to link or bind your account using your QQ or WeChat account.
- Log in and start Brawling!
