Clash of Clans Guide: List of the best Wizard Valley base layouts

It is time for some Wizardry!

Clash of Clans is undoubtedly Supercell’s leading title, with more games coming into the picture thanks to the amazing game by the company. The updates keep on rolling, one such update that has been very popular is the Clan Capital’s arrival in the game. First introduced in the Spring of 2022, Clan Capital currently has risen to a popular mode within the game. Themed after the magician himself, the Wizard Valley unlocks after the Barbarian Camp in the Clan Capital. As a result, bases must be established in order to provide adequate defense. This article will help you design some fantastic base layouts for the Wizard Valley in Clash of Clans.

Wizard Valley in Clash of Clans

Wizard Valley gets unlocked once your Capital Hall is upgraded to Level 3. Here, there is a significant difference between the Barbarian Camp and the Wizard Valley in terms of the unlock sequence of buildings or the number of buildings altogether.

Compared to the Barbarian Camp’s three Army Camps, the Wizard Valley unlocks only one army camp throughout the District Hall upgrade. The new level unlocks the Super Wizard Barracks, which helps the player to train the Super Wizard.

Upgrading the District Hall in the Wizard Valley will unlock access to new buildings and hence, more upgrades. In this level, the majority of the defenses are Spear Thrower, and the rest of the defenses contribute to the completion.

However, they are yet to implement a Copy Base option. So you can’t just bring in a reference base and copy it. The bases in your base should be manually arranged.

Wizard Valley Level 1

Apart from starting with the basic defensive buildings and traps unlocked, the Level 1 upgrade of the district hall will unlock many defensive buildings. This level will have a maximum of 11 Spear Throwers available, so you’ll have to build your base managing them. Four Cannons, Three Air Defenses, One Multi Cannon, and Four Super Wizard Towers are the other buildings in total that are made available with 80 wall pieces to support.

Wizard Valley Level 2

Few more defensive buildings get unlocked in this level, with new ones like Hidden Mega Tesla and the Log trap. Few more extra defensive buildings come in, and with the options available, you can build a great defensive setup for the base. Also, this level unlocks the final Multi Cannon defensive building in Level 2, with a maximum of two.

Inferno Tower will be the sole new defensive building that gets unlocked. The Inferno Tower only attacks one target at a time, dealing extremely high DPS that increases the longer it attacks the same target with only one mode, Single. The rest of the extra unlocked is one each of Cannon, Spear Thrower, Air Defense, and Super Wizard Tower. Mine and Mega Mine are the extra traps to trigger the opponent’s troops, which is an added advantage.

Wizard Valley Level 4

Players will get to place the Giant Cannon, one of the best ground defense buildings which fire large cannonballs that inflict damage on all ground units in its path. These cannonballs travel about 12 tiles before exploding. Players can unlock a maximum of two, which is the maximum for all levels. Most of the buildings reach their maximum number at this level. Hence it will have some similarities with the max level 5 with respect to the layout.

Wizard Valley Level 5

The final level of the Wizard Valley unlocks just two defensive buildings with one each of Inferno Tower and Raid Cart Post, hence making this level the one with the least number of unlocks. Twenty extra walls make it easy to put together a more substantial base, so you can have your bases set up similar to Level 4, or do changes with the extra walls as your requirement.
