Clash of Clans is enjoying the fun of the Lunar New Year festivities with plenty of events on offer, and we have finally kicked off the seasonal challenges, with the Cloud Contest now live. Time for the usual, I pen down the easiest way to beat this base and get those sweet three stars.
Introducing the Cloud Contest Challenge in Clash of Clans
So, the Cloud Contest Challenge brings the first controllable hero experience of the month to try out. This special challenge highlights the new Stick Horse equipment for the Barbarian King from the upcoming Metal Event, allowing him to leap over walls while gaining increased movement and attack speed.
Rewards haven’t changed, it will remain the same as before. Once you complete the three-star attack, you will receive the resources along with 400 XP, 25 Gems, and 1x Hero Potion.
How to beat the Cloud Contest Challenge in Clash of Clans
To beat the Cloud Contest Challenge, you remember this basic idea: you must control the Barbarian King throughout the attack. Begin by deploying the King in the top deployment area, as close to the Scattershot at the north of the base as possible.
Immediately tap the Scattershot so the King locks onto it. Thanks to the Stick Horse equipment, the King will move and attack much faster than usual during this opening phase. Once the Scattershot is destroyed, the Super Valkyrie will unlock, marking the start of the main push.
Next, tap the Healers so the King stays healthy, and then guide him toward the Wizard Tower, which takes two hits to bring down. As soon as it falls, activate the Rage Spell fireworks, followed by tapping the Ice Golem.
After dealing with the defending heroes, tap the Single Target Inferno. Around this time, the Stick Horse ability will wear off. From here, guide the King back upward and directly tap the Town Hall to take it down.
Once the Town Hall is destroyed, loop the King around toward the Super Wizard Tower. After it goes down, quickly tap the Rocket Balloons to minimize damage from the Monolith. As soon as they unlock, tap the Super Valkyrie at the bottom of the base.
When the Super Valkyrie triggers the Rage Spell fireworks, guide the King toward either the defending Grand Warden or directly to the Super Wizard Tower if it’s still there. From there, tap the Witches and move the King toward the Firecrackers at the very north of the base.
When the King reaches the Firecrackers, activate his ability, then push him toward the nearby Haste Spell fireworks. Finally, loop him around to the opposite side to target the Freeze Spell Tower. Just wait, as the remaining elements of the base will be cleared quickly.
