Clash Royale Battle Ram Evolution best decks guide

Ram it and three-crown!

Story Highlights
  • Battle Ram Evolution in Clash Royale arrived with the Season 58 update.
  • With a powerful 2-cycle evo, there are different strategies we can use in the game.

In Clash Royale, the Evolution mechanic has brought fresh life to many old-school cards, and the Battle Ram is one of the latest to receive this nice upgrade. Known for its aggressive push potential, the Evolution Battle Ram is an absolutely strong card when used with the right decks in Clash Royale.

I won’t be wrong to say the majority of the players have been using this card as a win condition, and hence, there are several decks available to use. So this guide will be focusing on building the best deck around the evo card.

Best decks featuring Battle Ram Evolution in Clash Royale

Arriving with the Season 58 update, the Evolved Battle Ram charges forward with brute force, dealing knockback to anything in its path. Once it hits a building, it doesn’t stop. It bounces back and keeps slamming until it’s taken down.

For a 4-cost, 2-cycle card, this evolution is pretty powerful. So, to keep the combinations to make this work, here are a few tested suggestions.

1. Battle Ram, Miner, The Log, Ice Golem, Executioner, Rocket, Tombstone, Tornado

Average Elixir Cost: 3.5

This one’s a chip-and-control deck with a sneaky win condition pairing: Miner + Battle Ram Evo. It might not look like a traditional combo, but trust me, it becomes very interesting when you see the opponent struggling to keep up with this deck.

Ice Golem is your defensive distraction, while Executioner and Tornado together are a killer combo to put in defense. Tombstone stalls your opponents’ push while feeding into your counter. This deck shines when you can survive the early game. You can copy the deck here.

2. Battle Ram, Cannon, Dark Prince, Magic Archer, Hunter, Zappies, Zap

Average Elixir Cost: 3.4

Another quick cycle deck that has a pretty solid use case, but it is also a double-edged sword with a single mini-tank. Still, Dark Prince and Hunter offer great support to your win condition. The Magic Archer + Tornado game isn’t here, but even without Tornado, he’s a beast behind the Ram.

Cannon is a solid defense card, and that Evo also comes in handy, while Zappies help with resets and backup support. Zap’s your quick utility card. With this deck, I usually go for Battle Ram in the opposite lane after defending to keep the pressure going constantly. Copy the deck here.

3. Battle Ram, PEKKA, Fireball, Zap, Bandit, Electro Wizard, Dart Goblin, Zappies

Average Elixir Cost: 3.9

This is your classic PEKKA bridge spam, now with that spicy Battle Ram Evolution to break through defensive lines. Once the Battle Ram breaks, you’ve got Ewiz and Zappies for control, and Fireball takes care of annoying splash units like Musketeer or Wizard.

Zap’s your cycle and support. This deck thrives on quick transitions, so defend with PEKKA, then launch a Ram-Bandit push in the other lane. Most players can’t handle both sides at once, especially with the evolved Ram applying constant pressure, so test the waters before trying this. Try the deck here.
