Clash Royale arrived with the Season 64 ‘Shocktober 2’ October 2024 update and there were indeed a lot of things to discuss. On the day of the update, we saw another new card making its debut, which was not a common but a Champion card, making him the 7th in the game to arrive. The new card always attracts the interest of the players, and hence to help you out in getting the best out of this card, I’ve come up with this Goblinstein Champion best decks guide in Clash Royale.
Best Decks for Goblinstein Champion Card in Clash Royale
Costing 5 Elixir to deploy, Goblinstein comes with a Goblinstein Monster and the Goblinstein Doctor alongside him. While Goblinstein Monster is a tank-type troop that can absorb damage, Goblinstein Doctor is a ranged troop that spawns 3 tiles behind the Monster. The has an electrifying link to the Monster, frying nearby enemies thanks to the Lightning Link ability.
The Champion looks to be a strong card and has plenty of options for the decks to be prepared. So, without much adieu, here are our top three recommended deck picks without any order.
1. Goblinstein, Graveyard, Goblin Cage, Barbarian Barrel, Baby Dragon, Knight, Poison, Skeletons
Average Elixir Cost: 3.5
This deck revolves around the Goblinstein as a key tank and support unit as its ability to reset troops is crucial in both defense and offense, making it effective against various unit types. The Graveyard works well with Goblinstein, drawing out spells and allowing skeletons to swarm. Goblin Cage and Barbarian Barrel provide solid control and support for both ground and air troops.

Baby Dragon offers splash damage, helping to clear out swarm units and synergize with Tornado to maximize damage potential. Knight serves as a secondary tank, while Poison provides additional control by dealing damage over time and slowing down enemy pushes. Skeletons offer cheap cycle support to manage the deck’s tempo. You can copy the deck here.
2. Goblinstein, Battle Ram, Royal Recruits, Valkyrie, Electro Spirit, Dart Goblin, Goblin Gang, Arrows
Average Elixir Cost: 3.8
A fantastic defensive deck is in store for us. We have two evolution cards in the Battle Ram and the Royal Recruits to support the offense, although this deck will be amazing to keep the opponent at bay. The former card is your primary bridge-push unit. When supported by Goblinstein or other troops, Battle Ram can apply immense pressure.

Valkyrie provides excellent crowd control, and with Dart Goblin, you can help yourself with fast, long-range chip damage. Making the deck even electric is the Electro Spirit, serving as a cheaper option. Arrows serve as your main spell, great for clearing out swarms while we have a versatile card with Goblin Gang for both offense and defense. You can copy the deck here.
3. Goblinstein, Ice Wizard, Electro Dragon, Tornado, Rage, Guards, Goblin Giant, Bats
Average Elixir Cost: 3.6
In this deck, we make use of Evolution Electro Dragon and the Goblin Giant, both forming a top combination. Goblinstein and Goblin Giant also work together well from what I’ve tried, so this makes it a perfect combination again. Ice Wizard is a must here, as you already have the quick cards so it is essential to slow down pushes.

Tornado synergizes well with these splash attackers, grouping enemy troops for maximum effect. Rage boosts your offensive momentum when pushing with Goblinstein and Goblin Giant. Guards and Bats offer cheap, versatile defense against both air and ground units. You can copy the deck here.
Final Thoughts
New cards when introduced always peak interest within the community to check how they fare in-game. The newly introduced Champion is also very interesting in this regard and serves its purpose pretty well. Some good combinations work decently in the matches if they are paired well, so do try other decks other than the suggested three. It may not always work for every player but tested and proven decks always work in your favor if the cards are played correctly.
