Since their introduction in Season 77 “When Hogs Fly” during the November 2025 Update of Clash Royale, the Royal Hogs Evolution have taken on an entirely new identity. They can now fly thanks to their Evo mode, and who doesn’t want to include some flying hogs?
Now the spotlight is firmly on this evolution, which brings out the absolute best in the card. In this guide, I’ll break down some of the strongest decks you can build to fully capitalize on the Flying Pigs.
Best Decks for the Royal Hogs Evolution in Clash Royale
The Evolved Royal Hogs maintain their familiar base stats but gain a powerful new mechanic: Flying Pigs. At the start of their charge, the hogs lift off and glide toward the nearest building, leaving a faint rainbow trail behind them. Upon landing, they deal small area damage before behaving like standard Royal Hogs.
This evolution triggers every two cycles, so based on that, we need to put forward our decks to make the cycles work in our favour. Keeping this in mind, here’s my
1. Royal Hogs, Royal Ghost, Skeleton King, Fisherman, Flying Machine, Zappies, Skeleton Army, Arrows
Average Elixir Cost: 3.9
We have two Royal cards in evolution here, with Royal Hogs and Royal Ghost taking the Evo slots. With Royal Ghost’s evo adding two Soldiers during his evo form, it combines well with the Hogs. Skeleton King is the high-damage tank, also pairs well with all your swarm cards.
Fisherman is your defensive backbone, pulling tanks or win conditions away from your tower, while Flying Machine long-range damage-dealing defense. Zappies and Skarmy help you in defense as well. You can swap the latter with Skeletons if needed and have a stronger spell. Copy the deck from here.
2. Royal Hogs, Archer Queen, Skeletons, Ice Spirit, Tesla, Earthquake, Royal Delivery, Log
Average Elixir Cost: 3.0
Here’s my fast cycle option, really quick, kind of irritating to the opponents as well. With the new Flying Pigs ability, your Royal Hogs become a much scarier win condition, and hence, this deck uses it well to cycle faster.
Archer Queen provides good defense and transitions instantly into counterpushes with her ability. Tesla gives solid coverage and can be your secondary evo option. Skeletons, Delivery, and Log handle swarms and distract the troops well. Chip and defend is the key. Test out this deck from here.
3. Royal Hogs, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Ice Golem, Magic Archer, Cannon Cart, Heal Spirit, Fireball, Log
Average Elixir Cost: 3.4
My favorite deck of the three because this one is really chaotic to use. The deck flows around spacing and timing. You drop your Ice Golem, shut down pushes cheaply, then counter in the opposite lane with Hog Evolution while Mini P.E.K.K.A becomes your mini-tank.
Cannon Cart plays a huge role in maintaining bridge control, and Heal Spirit lets your leftover troops survive, or even create a chip damage opportunity, even if it is a tiny bit. Fireball and Log combo works brilliantly well, along with Magic Archer being your long-range defense. Check out the deck here.
