What are Bon Voyage Charms in Destiny: Rising

Bon Voyage Charms are the primary gacha currency in Destiny: Rising. Think of them as beautifully crafted tokens, shaped like miniature ships, symbolizing the adventure every Lightbearer embarks on. But they’re not just for show, though, cause these charms are the key to unlocking characters and materials in the Draw menu, also known as The Rising Lights and Memento Mori.

Also, there are two types of Charms. The Bon Voyage Charm, which is used to pull for permanent banners. And the Bon Voyage Charm L.E., which is used to draw for time-limited characters. Without these charms, progressing toward your dream Lightbearer team becomes a grind. That’s why every player, whether free-to-play or spender, needs to plan carefully on how to gather and use them.

How to get more Bon Voyage Charms in Destiny: Rising

If you want more Lightbearers, you’ll need a steady supply of Bon Voyage Charms. Luckily, Destiny: Rising gives players plenty of avenues to earn them, both free and paid. Here are the best ways to get more Bon Voyage Charms:

Where to spend your Bon Voyage Charms in Destiny: Rising

So, you’ve stocked up on Bon Voyage Charms; next comes the fun part of using them. These charms are the main gacha currency in Destiny: Rising, and spending them wisely can make the difference between building a dream team of Lightbearers or wasting pulls on filler.

1. Use on Permanent Banners – The Rising Lights

The most common place to spend Bon Voyage Charms is the permanent banner called “The Rising Lights.” This banner lets you pull for 4★ and 5★ characters like Kabr, Ikora, Attal, Finnala, Xuan Wei, Jolder, Ning Fei, and Tan-2. Each pull costs 1 Charm, while a 10x pull requires 10 Charms.

If you’re just starting, this is the banner you’ll spend the most on since it contains a broad pool of Lightbearers to strengthen your roster.

2. Use on Limited-Time Banners (L.E. Charms)

Some special banners in Destiny: Rising require Bon Voyage Charms L.E.. These can’t be used on the permanent banner and are tied to specific character releases. You’ll typically get L.E. Charms through the Fortuna Shop, premium Battle Pass, or events. If you’re aiming for a featured Lightbearer, these banners are worth saving for.

So these are how to spend your Bon Voyage Charms in Destiny: Rising. And while you can always spend Charms one at a time, 10-pulls are often more efficient. Many banners guarantee at least one higher-rarity reward within 10 pulls, making this the smarter option if you’re grinding for top-tier Lightbearers.
