In Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra, you can use the game’s premium currency – Dragon Gems to buy your preferred heroes. Using this method, you’d need 120 Dragon Gems to unlock each hero. However, you can’t buy Helpers; you can only unlock them for Free.

2. Completing the Battle Pass missions

In Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra’s Battle Pass mission section, you will be rewarded for completing 2 battles in the game. On completing two battles, you can select one out of 3 Helpers in the mission’s rewards.

3. Star Collection System

On downloading the game and completing the first tutorials, you will be rewarded with your first Free hero. The more you use your preferred hero in Standard Battle matches, the more you get rewarded with Hero Star Grade. From the hero list or details, you can use a specific hero’s “Hero Memories” with Zeni or Dragon Gems to upgrade their Star Grade.
