eFootball 2025 FC Bayern Munchen Epic pack review

Best picks from the three?

Another week, another campaign in eFootball 2025, and, of course, another Epic pack. This has been the trend for a while now, and with the FC Bayern Munchen campaign that arrived, a new Epic collection of Lahm, Van Buyten, and Elber in eFootball 2025. Discussions of whether this pack is value for money or not are already in the community, so let me give you my thoughts in this review.

Epic cards from the FC Bayern Munchen pack in eFootball 2025

This comes back to a similar pattern of 150 players in a pack with three Epic cards. Two of them have Show Time skills, while one is your regular Epic.

Philipp Lahm

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Orchestrator
  • Showtime Skill: Fortress

Lahm cards are usually pretty well-rounded, and this card doesn’t shy away from that aspect either. If you check his profile, he plays in almost every midfield and defensive position. That’s how versatile he is, and with good base stats, progression points allotment is something you need to check.

I can say Lahm is the definition of a perfect Orchestrator midfielder. He is graceful on the ball with good dribbling, is good at distributing the ball, and easily wins the ball off opponents. Profiles of dictate play and win tackles are essential, and Lahm ticks that box right.

His defensive positioning is something I liked very much. If you notice, he runs more than your usual Orchestrator, maybe because the player ID still has the “Fullback” elements of his previous cards. While thereā€™s no flaw here, heading and physical contact aren’t the best, but for this role, I don’t see it as really important.

Now, what position suits him the best? If I see this card correctly, it is amazing in almost every midfield aspect you can get. Not using him there would be a miss. Train him as a hybrid CMF/DMF, which helps in both attack and defense.

Giovanne Elber

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Finishing

Elber is heavily disliked when he is added to a pack with Rummenigge (good ol’ PES days), but on his own, he is a wonderful card. A classic poacher who knows exactly where to be at the right time, Elber gets decent stats to prove the same.

That awareness and finishing are in the high 90s, which allows Elber to be a pure finisher inside the box. His movement is quick and always running, and his buff in acceleration makes him even more deadly on the break. His headers are really good, but the stats don’t show the full picture.

Outside the box is where I feel he is kind of a letdown. Even though he has those Long Range Shooting skills, the power doesn’t feel like enough. On the ball too, he isn’t a good choice, so you better have a 2 CF formation with a solid creator to back him up.

Daniel Van Buyten

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Destroyer

You might know how impactful this card has been for many players, and with the new Epic version, Van Buyten returns even more dangerous. More evenly distributed defensive stats, better jump, noticeable improvements in pace, and an overall balance of the card.

Yes, you won’t see those very popular 99 Heading and Kicking Power stats, but still, if you need a no-nonsense center-back, Van Buyten is your man. With great ground coverage, he is also strong and dominant in the air.

That said, heā€™s not the fastest defender, so you might want to pair him with a quicker CB to cover the gaps. Still, with the right build, you can push both these attributes to the 80s. But when it comes to aerial duels and physical battles, heā€™s a nightmare for attackers, and that alone makes him a solid pick.

Best pick from FC Bayern Munchen pack in eFootball 2025

Okay, before going for the best pick, I would have loved it if the pack had all the defenders or even some bigger names to create hype for the campaign. This makes it “not so worth it” as a whole because of the names.

But when you check out the cards, I see two amazing picks in Lahm and Buyten. Both have amazing numbers and their performances back that up. No harm in spinning a couple of them, right? Oh yeah, but only if you have coins.
