eFootball 2025 Norway ’25 Pack Review

Norway picks are here! Who stands out?

Story Highlights
  • eFootball 2025 has introduced the Norway '25 pack to the game for 1500 coins.
  • The standout of the pack is the 89-rated manager, who is the first in the game.

KONAMI continues to roll out exciting new additions in eFootball 2025, and the latest to join the mix is the Norway ’25 Pack. Celebrating the nation’s top football talents, this pack’s surprise lies in the manager, which is something we expected, but not in the current pack.

Although I haven’t picked up the pack myself just yet, I’ve taken a good look at the players included, and since I already have a few of their other versions in my squad, I’ve got a pretty solid idea of what this one brings to the table. Here’s my take on what it’s offering.

eFootball 2025 Norway ’25 Pack: Manager and Players explained

Again, an offering of 1500 coins, to be honest, this pack is pretty fresh. Yes, you might not like this since it doesn’t have the star power, so KONAMI is smart enough to bring us the magic of a new high-rated manager, which I will discuss next.

Manager: Stale Solbakken

  • Version: National Team Pack Norway ’25
  • Proficiency: Out Wide (89 Rated)
  • Affinity: Star Players+
  • Booster Type: Double Booster – Heading and Physical Contact

If you’ve taken a closer look at the Proficiency here, you’ll probably see exactly what I meant earlier. We’ve officially moved past the usual boring trend and hit a new milestone with eFootball, introducing the first-ever 89-rated manager, Stale Solbakken.

He also has 80 proficiency in Long Ball, which isn’t high but can be used as a long-distance effort. Given Out Wide is his playstyle, you have two perfect boosters in Heading and Physical Contact, so if you love crossing the ball in, consider it a plus.

Let me jump into the player reviews now.

Erling Haaland

  • Position: CF
  • Playstyle: Goal Poacher

Even during Man City‘s slump, this guy is stepping up. In the game, all his versions have been meta, especially using it as a Sub. This card doesn’t shy away from offering high stats to us. He’s got elite speed for his size and can bulldoze through most defenses with ease, with that physical contact.

Dribbling‘s not his strong suit, and build-up play is limited, but compared to all these attributes, which I found still manageable, the lack of balance has been an issue for me. Still, he thrives on through balls and quick finishes, he’s exactly that. Just feed him and watch the goals stack up.

Martin Odegaard

  • Position: CMF
  • Playstyle: Orchestrator

KONAMI is notorious for providing out-of-position cards, which are absolute monsters when they are played in the right position. Odegaard fits into this description. High ball control, elite passing, and a clean dribble style make him ideal for unlocking defenses.

If you are like me, he will be wasted if you play him at CMF, especially with the Orchestrator playstyle. He can be an awesome SS/AMF hybrid, so playing him with an inactivated playstyle with an attacking instruction sounds like the best option if you ask me.

Alexander Sorloth

  • Position: CF
  • Playstyle: Target Man

As a Barcelona fan, I would not recommend this card, given how much he has traumatised me with that late winner against us (just kidding). I believe he is quite a superb card. I have his POTW card, and he displays solid hold-up play and surprisingly decent movement for his size.

He’s not your pace merchant, but stick him in the middle and get crosses in. He thrives in physical matchups and is great at occupying defenders in the box. Ticks both Finishing and Heading, so a perfect Solbakken player.

Sander Berge

  • Position: CMF
  • Playstyle: Box to Box

Berge used to be my go-to DMF back in PES day, I used to have his Silver Ball version. Quite the memories. Here, the card is a good hybrid CMF/DMF, with that overpowered Box to Box playstyle.

A tall, rangy midfielder with a well-rounded skill set. Berge offers solid passing, good stamina, and a surprising touch of control on the ball. He is higher rated at DMF, but since the B2B and CMF combo works the best, keep it that way.

Oscar Bobb

  • Position: RWF
  • Playstyle: Roaming Flank

A very impressive utility forward. He has familiarity with every attacking position there is. To back it up, he has the stats. Agile and fun to use, Bobb has good pace and dribbling stats. Even with the lack of skills, he looks good for a dribbler.

From the overview of the card, it is easy to notice he lacks physicality, and those fall below 65, so it is hard to push it up without sacrificing other numbers. For the Out Wide style, it looks good to me.

Overview for the rest of the cards:

  • Julian Ryerson (LB/Defensive Fullback): High stamina and pace make Ryerson perfect for tracking back and holding down the flank. Defensively solid as well. Can be used at CB, too.
  • Orjan Nyland (GK/Offensive Goalkeeper): Big frame and decent goalkeeping at 90, but on first look, he’s not the elite GK one will look for.
  • Morten Thorsby (CMF/Box to Box): Again, a good CMF/DMF hybrid. High stamina and decent physicals, so it will help him cover ground and press well. Not super technical on the ball, but he could do the dirty work, win challenges, and keep things moving.
  • Leo Ostigard (CB/Destroyer): Tough, no-nonsense defender, considering his base card. The lack of pace, considering the meta, could be an issue.
  • Marcus Pedersen (RB/Offensive Wingback): He has all-around numbers. Very quick and active on the right, looking at the auto-build.
  • Antonio Nusa (LWF/Prolific Winger): Pacy dribbler with some interesting skills. The rest of the numbers look okay-ish, so he still can be a decent utility option.

Is the Norway ’25 Pack in eFootball 2025 worth purchasing

The pack is decent, to be honest, but if you are a casual player, stay away. It was a sneaky move from KONAMI to give us an 89-rated manager, but the overall value of this pack isn’t worth it just for the manager. Wait, we are sure to get higher-rated managers soon.
