eFootball 2025 Show Time National Guardians pack review

The best picks from the bunch?

Story Highlights
  • The National Guardians pack in eFootball 2025 has arrived.
  • The pack features Antonio Rudiger, Ronald Araujo, and Alexis Mac Allister.

Time for another eFootball 2025 review, as the Show Time National Guardians pack is here. The pack introduces three defensive standout players Antonio Rudiger, Ronald Araujo, and Alexis Mac Allister, all having a Show Time skill.

Each of these players has a unique role in shaping a solid defensive unit, so picking any of the three seems to be a good deal. Let’s take a closer look at how they perform on the virtual pitch, and if they are worth the coins.

Show Time cards from eFootball 2025 National Guardians pack

We see 150 players in this pack with three Show Time cards. All three cards get a Show Time skill each, none of the skills are repeated.

Antonio Rudiger

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Destroyer
  • Showtime Skill: Fortress

You might know how OP any Rudiger card is. And after a good wait, we finally have a Show Time card where he has some impressive numbers compared to whatever we have now. Just like his other cards, he’s always looking to shut down attacks early with aggressive tackles and interceptions.

His defensive awareness is pretty impressive, and his tackling is as solid as it gets. Even if he pushes forward aggressively, this card has enough juice to push those speed stats. That mix of strength and speed is deadly.

What you might feel to be a downer is the aerial stats. Yes, in the air, he’s good, but not the absolute best. Still, I didn’t find him lacking in that front, that height is a good positive, and with the use of the GK1 attribute you push his jump numbers to make him better at heading overall.

Ronald Araujo

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Destroyer
  • Showtime Skill: Aerial Fort

This is a card I’ve been trying to get since my PES days. Araujo is undoubtedly one of the best defenders in the game. If you want a pure defensive rock, Ronald is your guy. He’s an aggressive CB, meaning he’s always on the front foot, pressing attackers and winning duels.

His tackling is top-tier, and he’s a nightmare in 1v1s because that pace is immense, easily he can catch his man off-guard and get the ball off him. Thanks to his strong heading and impressive jumping numbers, Araujo is a monster aerially, and with that Aerial Fort skill, he is even deadly.

He could even slot in as an emergency right-back if needed, so you don’t have to worry about those numbers if you want him to defend that right flank. But, still, even with all these attributes, he fails to beat the Barcelona Big Time version of his, even though with an inactivated playstyle purely on numbers.

Alexis Mac Allister

  • Position: DMF
  • Playing Style: Destroyer
  • Showtime Skill: Visionary Pass

I believe most players are sleeping on this card. I understand that compared to the two CBs this isn’t a very impressive card, but boy, isn’t he a solid CMF. Mac Allister comes as a DMF, meaning he already has good defensive numbers, but that’s exactly why I need you to see him at CMF.

He is a complete midfield package if you ask me: strong on the ball, excellent at passing, and tireless in his work rate. He’s a Box-to-Box player, meaning he’s constantly involved in both attack and defense. In every department, he ticks, but his best abilities would be on the ball and passing.

Defensively, he’s no slouch either. He tracks back well, presses aggressively, and has the tackling ability to break up plays. His stamina is off the charts, so he’ll be running from start to finish without slowing down. A mini Matthaus would be a good comparison, so a choice worth considering.

Best pick from the Show Time National Guardians pack in eFootball 2025

Another day, another verdict, and if you ask me, this is the easiest Show Time pack to consider spinning if you need a CB, because Destroyer CBs won’t get better than this. Even if you spin Mac Allister, consider this a great result. Have a few coins? Go for it.
