We have many events live now alongside packs and Selection Contracts, but something that Indian fans are happy about is getting an Epic Sunil Chhetri in eFootball 2026.
The Indian football legend is now available in the 900 coins pack National Legends and then also in the store to purchase, which is a really cheap offering, costing INR 30. But pretty sure, many might be in this dilemma if he’s just a nostalgic pick or a genuinely decent striker option. Let me review my findings.

On first glance, there isn’t anything impressive to see with this card. Honestly, that’s the blunt truth. Rated as high as a top-tier POTW striker, overall rating that goes to 101 after applying a second booster, and the saving grace is a ST skill Epic card. But the performances tell otherwise.
As much as I downplayed the card numbers in the first paragraph, they look good for a striker available for a fixed price. In a pretty solid build, he gets 90+ stats in Offensive Awareness, Finishing, Speed, Acceleration, and Balance. Really good display here.
But surely you would question the performances, and from what I tried, I would compare him to a mini Romario. Yes, that smoothness is lacking, but he is a solid finisher, really good runs and positioning that work to his advantage, and doesn’t feel underpowered. Yes, there are disadvantages.
He is light as a feather because my build didn’t give him any points on his physicals. His aerial game is nonexistent. Something that is a big issue is stamina; around the 60-minute mark, he is gassed out, because this is a 39-year-old card of his. So the best use case would be having him as a Super Sub, which I recommend the skill as well. One Touch Pass is a skill that is a must; his Low Pass is really good for a CF.
Should you draw for Epic Sunil Chhetri in eFootball 2026
Well, if you are going for the 900 coin Selection Contract, my suggestion would be a green light, since you get a guaranteed epic, which is also a usable card. But the value is in the 30 INR pack, which gets you 10 eFootball Coins (value!) with Chhetri.
