eFootball 2026 Show Time American League pack review

The new Show Time pack has arrived in eFootball 2026, featuring the top picks from the MLS, which goes by the American League pack. Well, one would expect Messi here, but we’ve got four players that bring in really good value for the coins you spend.

Show Time picks from this pack include Son Heung-Min, Sergio Busquets, Thomas Müller, and Jordi Alba, and all four might not be in their primes, but they received really good cards. So, should you spin or not? Here’s my take.

Son Heung-Min

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher
  • Showtime Skill: Acceleration Burst and Blitz Curler

Son is the obvious pick of the pack. Everything about the build gives that Mbappe or Dembele type vibe, fast, sharp, and very direct. His balance and acceleration combo instantly stands out, so he feels like the kind of forward who turns quickly and gets onto through balls without slowing down.

Dribbling and tight possession look clean enough, not really high still. The biggest value is his weak foot usage and the fact that he has Blitz Curler. Since he can strike from either side, the curler becomes top-tier, and we already know previous Son cards were among the best in that skill.

Add the Acceleration Burst ST skill on top, and he reads like a no-brainer CF for counterattacks. Is it the best card of Son in the game? No, but surely the easiest Blitz Curler pick you can get. One Touch Pass for link-up play and any Shooting skill, like Dipping Shot or Rising Shot, will come in really handy.

Sergio Busquets

  • Position: DMF
  • Playing Style: Anchor Man
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Pass

I’m a fan of Busquests because of his player ID, and with this card, I’m kind of happy they gave him a respectable pace for once, around 80 is decent enough. His passing and tight possession sections look great, which suits possession football perfectly.

Phenomenal Pass fits him naturally because both low passes and lofted balls are high enough to make it effective, yet he was always among the ones with high balance, but this card misses out on that. Defensively, almost everything is in the strong zone, which makes him a clean interceptor.

The only downside is still the same old issue: he is not a meta speed DMF. Newer Epic card options will outrun him in speed and stamina, and even the recent Selection Contract has Henderson, so you might lean more towards the latter.

Thomas Müller

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Finishing

Müller looks like one of those cards where the numbers speak for themselves. Great awareness, clean ball control, and high finishing potential make his Showtime skill a natural fit.

His previous dummy runner versions were already fun because of his movement, and this one continues that pattern by giving him a great blend of positioning and shooting. With a few tweaks, he easily becomes a strong secondary scorer from midfield.

The only thing holding him back is his low physical contact, and the meta pace somewhat, the latter I’m not worried about. That is why playing him as an SS with a proper build would be my suggestion. Stay close to the goal, make use of his ball holding and finishing, and repeat.

Jordi Alba

  • Position: LB
  • Playing Style: Offensive Wingback
  • Showtime Skill: Edged Crossing

Classic Alba card with amazing pace and passing to help you build him up. The pace section looks very strong, his stamina is solid, and his passing stats make Edged Crossing a strong choice you can take advantage of.

He clearly reads like an attack-heavy LB who plays high up the pitch, and for that reason, his defensive numbers are close to mid-80s. Of course, you can boost them up, but that isn’t right for me. Given his build, I feel a shift to LMF with the right setup is the best option since his offensive stats fit that role well.

Verdict on the Show Time American League players in eFootball 2026

Honestly, I suggest spinning for these. Surely not meta or end-game, but really good picks that need you to spin less and gain more. Son is easily worth the spins, and the other three are starter picks unless you have really strong cards.

Pack Rating: 3.5 out of 5
