eFootball 2026 Show Time Japanese Stars pack review

Japanese superstars!

The new Show Time pack has arrived in eFootball 2026, and this time it’s themed around Japan’s rising football stars. Aptly titled Japanese Stars, the pack features a trio of top talents, Junya Ito, Ayase Ueda, and Zion Suzuki.

But beyond the names and the stats, does the pack bring the same level of excitement we’ve seen from recent releases? Even if not, are the cards worth spinning for? Here’s my full review.

Table Of Contents

Junya Ito

  • Position: RMF
  • Playing Style: Cross Specialist
  • Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Edged Crossing

Before checking his numbers, I already knew Ito would feel quick and lively on the ball, and that’s exactly what this card gives. His balance, agility, and speed make him extremely smooth to control, while the combination of Momentum Dribbling and Edged Crossing makes him very effective for wide play.

He can burst past defenders and send in accurate low or high crosses with little delay, which fits modern wide setups well. I liked how consistently he performs, even late in the game, thanks to his decent stamina. The only weak point is finishing, but for a Cross Specialist, he ticks every box.

Ayase Ueda

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Bullet Header

Ueda was the main reason I spun for this pack, because I remember his performances for me in a 93-OVR card, which I still have, and this is a significant upgrade. One of the few players who doesn’t need good numbers to perform, I feel, maybe it’s the Japanese boost.

Ueda feels like a very direct striker who focuses purely on finishing. He is sharp inside the box, has good acceleration to make quick runs, and connects really well with headers, even though he isn’t a tall striker. Bullet Header seems to be the most effective ST skill among the two, I feel.

In my build, he has almost 90s dribbling and control, but is still not built for dribbling. Decent hold-up play is also a plus, but if your playstyle is all about feeding your striker with through balls or crosses, Ueda fits right in. Double Touch is the only skill I added, and it is really handy.

Zion Suzuki

  • Position: GK
  • Playing Style: Offensive Goalkeeper
  • Showtime Skill: Visionary Pass

A popular keeper among the players, Suzuki‘s latest card is a solid improvement over his previous ones, especially for players who like goalkeepers with active distribution. His passing range is surprisingly accurate, and Visionary Pass makes him excellent at starting counterattacks quickly.

Reflexes and reach are top-notch, too. He does push high up at times, which can be risky if you mistime positioning, but his handling and saves make up for it. Definitely a player who is amazing for Long balls to deliver passes to your forwards.

Verdict on the Show Time Japanese Stars players in eFootball 2026

Simply put, not for the ones who are building a strong squad. I really liked Ueda and Suzuki when I tried them, my kind of players, and a very minute, negligible weakness. They have strong player ID, too, but not sure if you guys would want to get unknown names.

Pack Rating: 2.5 out of 5
