Finally, we are reaching the end of the line. This is expected to be the final batch of icons of the FIFA Mobile 20 season. There are a lot of big names in this set and some of the cards are quite promising. All these players have made their mark in the history of football, grab your all-time idols in this limited-time event in the form of SBCs. We have carefully analyzed each card’s costs and playstyles in order to assist you in getting the most out of them in FIFA Mobile 20.
Note: In each icons review of FIFA Mobile 20, there is an estimation of the price. Do not use this as an accurate representation. It is only an estimate, where the cost of the SBCs is calculated in terms of each SBC costing 1 million coins. The costs for training the players have been taken from the FifaRenderz website.
Deco (CAM)
- Skill boost: Counter
- Traits: Flair. Long shot taker, Playmaker
- Requirements: 100 Icon Points, 12 Legacy Points
Cost: 3 Major SBCs minimum to get enough of both points, this will cost an average of 2 million coins
Overview
The Portuguese playmaker makes his way into FIFA Mobile 20, but this time as one of the regular icons. He has some good traits and a popular skill boost, so not a bad start to the set. Of course, you will need to upgrade him, but he does show early potential.
VSA
As an attacking-minded CAM, you will find Deco in position for the shot for quite a few chances. Fortunately, he has the shooting to score you some goals. He is very weak though, with some very low physical stats, but other than that, this is a good card for VSA
H2H
Deco plays as a great playmaker in H2H. Although a little slow, you will find him lethal on the counter, as the main central provider of the attack. Surround him with pacy wingers and strikers and Deco will fit in perfectly.
Hernan Crespo (ST)
- Skill boost: Poacher
- Traits: Finesse shot, Power header
- Requirements: 150 Icon Points, 14 History Points
Cost: 3 Major SBCs for both types of points, which would cost around 3 million coins
Overview
This is another generic striker, very average in all aspects. Unless you are a fan of Crespo as the Argentinian goal scorer, there really is no point in getting him. You must already have a better striker in your squad already. At such a low rating though, this card does have some potential, upgrade it to see it perform best.
VSA
This is a strong shooter, which is perfect for VSA. He has the strength to push forward and the finishing touch for the goals. His dribbling is a little off point, with very little balance. He might end up falling over a lot, especially in crowded areas like in VSA.
H2H
This card is just too slow for H2H, he won’t fit the meta and therefore he won’t perform well. That is just how FIFA Mobile works. If you really want him though, make sure to partner him with a pacy striker. He seems to move faster off the ball, so you can use the 2nd striker to move fast with the ball.
Roy Keane (CDM)
- Skill boost: Destroyer
- Traits: None
- Requirements: 200 Icon Points, 16 Honor Points
Cost: 4 Major SBCs which would cost an average of about 4 million coins
Overview
The Irish captain used to command the midfield with his presence; a true leader in his time. Thankfully, he is rewarded in FIFA Mobile 20 with a pretty good card. Definitely usable, maybe even better than most CDMs. He is worth a go in your team, especially if you are a big fan of the Red Devils.
VSA
As a defensive CDM, Keane has evidently some pretty bad attacking stats. Try to position him in a place where CDMs don’t get chances, otherwise, he will be more of a liability in the attack. In defense though, this card performs really well. It has some great defensive stats, making him a pain to come up against.
H2H
As said previously, Keane is terrible coming forward, keep him at the back as a fully defensive midfielder. He works best on his own, you should play him as the single CDM. He is a little shaky on the ball though, so make sure to release the ball quickly with Keane.
Emmanuel Petit (LB)
- Skill boost: Defending
- Traits: Long shot taker
- Requirements: 250 Icon Points, 18 Championship Points
Cost: A minimum of 5 Major SBCs are required which should cost a total of around 5 million coins
Overview
Emmanuel Petit comes in as an icon, again, twice in the same season. Like Thierry Henry in one of the older Icon sets, Petit has the same picture as well, which is a little annoying. This time, Petit makes an appearance as an LB. To be completely honest, this is a really bad LB. He just isn’t built for that position at all. He has always been a better CDM, so best play him there.
VSA
Defensive stats are great, Petit is a really annoying player to dribble past. However, with the high attacking work rate, you may find him appearing in chances. Petit has some pretty bad dribbling, its best to just kick the ball out of play when you come up with Petit since you will just waste your time trying to make a play with him.
H2H
This is a really bad LB in general. He is slow and he can’t pass very well. It is recommended to play him as a fullback rather than as a wingback, but with the high attacking work rate, this will be difficult to do. Just try to keep him in your own half at all times. If you see his blond ponytail driving down the left-wing, just avoid that side as a whole.
Michael Ballack (CM)
- Skill boost: Box-to-box
- Traits: Powerful driven free-kick, Long shot taker, Power header
- Requirements: 300 Icon Points, 20 Legacy Points
Cost: At least 6 Major SBCs which should cost you around 6 million coins
Overview
The German midfielder was a star in the squad, wherever he played. Great movement and passing were shown with every game he played. In FIFA Mobile 20, he seems to have been done justice according to that with his Icons card.
VSA
With some very high attacking stats, Ballack is a certain threat in your VSA chances. His shooting is sufficient, CMs are not expected to come forward, but Ballack in your chances will not be a problem. However, do remember that Ballack is a little weak, he can get nudged off the ball quite easily.
H2H
With this being a very well-rounded midfielder, Ballack is a good option in H2H. Best played as a box-to-box midfielder, this card will be able to charge forward in attack and at the same time, cover your defense as well. He is best in the attacking stance though, so keep that in mind.
Roberto Carlos (LB)
- Skill boost: Reactions
- Traits: Long throw, Powerful driven free-kick, Avoids weaker foot, Long shot taker
- Requirements: 400 Icon Points, 28 Career Points
Cost: Minimum of 8 major SBCs are required which should cost around 8 million coins
Overview
The well-known Brazilian LB was particularly famous for his winding free-kicks. Sadly, in FIFA Mobile, such detail in the free-kicks is not possible and therefore Roberto Carlos is one of the Icons cards feels like any ordinary player. With some very good stats, this card would be a certain addition in your team, if it wasn’t for his height
VSA
Although his stats are outstanding, Roberto Carlos is just too small in size. His defending is amazing, he would certainly be a pain in VSA, but with his short height, he is relatively easy to get passed. Coming forward in attacking chances, Roberto Carlos should fair well there. The best option for him would be to cross the ball into the middle. This isn’t a popular tactic in VSA, but if you are reliable attackers that can head the ball, it shouldn’t be a problem.
H2H
As said before, Roberto Carlos’ low height drastically limits his potential. He will easily be overcome by any half-decent long ball over the top. However, he does have a good pace, so he may be able to catch up. But in the end, it is too risky of a move to leave such a hole in your defense. It is best to keep him back with good defensive back-up.
Javier Zanetti (RB)

- Traits: None
- Requirements: 500 Icon Points, 30 Championship Points
Cost: At least 10 Major SBCs which should cost around 10 million coins
Overview
The 3rd Icon wingback comes in the form of the Italian legend, Javier Zanetti. If you could manage to grab both Zanetti and Roberto Carlos for your team, they will provide a threatening partnership, since they even have the same boost. With some great stats, Zanetti is given a pretty decent Icon card for this season.
VSA
Unlike Roberto Carlos, Zanetti is decently sized and he still has some great defensive stats. Coming in the attack, the situation will be the same as with Roberto Carlos. The best option would be to cross it in, otherwise, you could look for a central pass or a pass towards a winger. Zanetti isn’t exactly capable of handling an attack all by himself, be sure to provide support.
H2H
For anyone looking to attack through the wingbacks, Zanetti is a good option. His good movement and distribution make him lethal as an attacking RB. With some good defensive stats, Zanetti will also be a useful addition to your backline. Overall, a very useful card.
Alessandro Del Piero (ST)
- Skill boost: Finishing
- Traits: Finesse shot, Playmaker
- Requirements: 600 Icon Points, 32 Honor Points
Cost: At least 12 major SBCs which should cost around 12 million coins
Overview
Just recently, EA handed us a free prime icon in the form of Del Piero. Of course, you had to grind insanely hard to get it, but it was F2P. Now, the Italian finisher, again, arrives in FIFA Mobile 20, but this time, as a normal Icons card. If you didn’t manage to get the prime icon, you still have a chance at grabbing your idol here.
VSA
As a lone striker in VSA, Del Piero will finish off most if not all the chances you provide him with. The shooting really speaks for itself. Movement in-game is also fluid and Del Piero is nice and quick on the turn as well.
H2H
Although he has a decent amount of pace, it could certainly be much better. Other than that, there really isn’t much to complain about this card. Just remember, even though he has the playmaker trait, he is a pretty useless playmaker. His passing stats are just not high enough. Best not to use him in that role.
Alessandro Nesta (CB)
- Skill boost: Marking
- Traits: Power Header
- Requirements: 700 Icon Points, 34 Championship Points
Cost: A minimum of 14 major SBCs are required which should cost around 14 million coins
Overview
Again, this is the same scenario as with Del Piero. The prime icon version of Nesta is still available for all players. However, if you failed to get that, this basic Icon is still here for you. Although he has some good stats, sadly the Italian stopper does not fit the FIFA Mobile meta well. Don’t expect him to be a good card.
VSA
The card’s pace is what drops down his quality the most. He is just too slow at this stage in the game. However, with the marking boost, his defensive performance is improved a lot. Just keep in mind that without pace, defenders are pretty easy to get past.
H2H
As said previously, Nesta is just too slow as a defender. If you were to partner him with another fast CB, then maybe Nesta would fit in. The Power Header trait is a great addition, he does have some pretty good heading abilities, which is always good.
Ronaldinho (CAM)
- Skill boost: Long Shots
- Traits: Finesse shot, Flair, Playmaker
- Requirements: 800 Icon Points, 36 Career Points
Cost: At least 16 Major SBCs which is about 16 million coins
Overview
It is weird how one of the best dribblers in the history of football gets only a 94 overall Icons card in FIFA Mobile 20. Of course, he deserves a higher rating for his exceptional performances. However, you can’t deny that his card is pretty good. Perfectly balanced for a CAM, as all CAMs should be.
VSA
This card plays almost as a second striker, taking a lot of chances and usually having them finished. The long shots boost is obviously great and all his attacking stats are very good. Overall, a pretty decent card in VSA.
H2H
Like in VSA, Ronaldinho will also perform great in H2H. Just remember, if you are looking for smooth and fluid Ronaldinho-esque movement, you won’t get it. This card has some great dribbling, but it just doesn’t feel like you are controlling the great Ronaldinho, it just feels more like a good dribbler with a ponytail.
Marco Van Basten (ST)
- Skill boost: Acceleration
- Traits: Finesse shot
- Requirements: 900 Icon Points, 38 Legacy Points
Cost: At least 18 Major SBCs which equates to around 18 million coins
Overview
If you were wondering which player somehow got a better overall than Ronaldinho, you’ll probably see that it kind of makes sense. In his prime, Van Basten was lethal in every way. With blistering pace and a net-breaking shot, this man certainly deserves a high rated card.
VSA
As a good quality striker, Van Basten will get the job done with efficiency in VSA. Expect goals coming from his side as his insane shooting should blow you away. Like many other attackers, Van Basten shows some signs of physical weakness, beware of that.
H2H
This is nothing but a perfect striker for H2H to fit the FIFA Mobile meta. The pace and the shooting are all you need with this man, and he will perform great. The acceleration boost will only make his speed even more damaging to your opponent.
Zinedine Zidane (CM)
- Skill boost: Captain
- Traits: Finesse shot, Flair, Long passer, Playmaker
- Requirements: 1150 Icon Points, 44 History Points
Cost: A minimum of 23 Major SBCs is required which would cost around 23 million coins
Overview
It started with Zidane. It ended with Zidane. They said Zidane will be the face of FIFA Mobile 20 and he truly was. If you didn’t manage to complete his dedicated event for his Prime Icon card, you still have a chance at the base Icon. It may not be as flashy, but it is still great nonetheless.
VSA
The stats itself prove that this is a lethal CM coming forward. Although not the best, Zidane carries some impressive shooting stats which will certainly help you to score goals. Overall, a pretty good card for VSA.
H2H
Unlike in VSA, Zidane shines most in H2H. Here, his passing and agility stats come into play, this is where he performs best. He will play best as a central midfielder, controlling the game. With a popular skill boost, Zidane is a very good choice to have in your team. He will command the play, from the middle of the pitch. Be sure to provide the ball to him as much as possible.
