This season, EA introduced a new program in FIFA Mobile, Star Pass which allows the users to claim resources and some exclusive Icons. In order to claim the rewards from FIFA Mobile 20 Star Pass, one must collect the daily star score points from daily quests.
FIFA Mobile 20 Star Pass Resource Management
Star Score
Star Score can be earned from Daily Quests and weekly Star Pass Quests such as scoring 100 goals, winning VSA/H2H matches, training players, etc. By increasing your Star Score you will be able to unlock and gain Star Pass Rewards. Star Score resets monthly with the Star Pass.
Gold Star Pass
This is the premium section of the Star Pass, in order to access this, you need to spend some real cash. Like the Normal one, Gold Star Pass lasts for a month. Buying this pass, you will be able to redeem exclusive Star Pass rewards such as FIFA Points and Star Pass Players of that month. The price for a Gold Star Pass is USD 9.99.

Star Tokens
Additionally, with the March Update, EA introduced new Star Tokens which users can spend in the new Star Store in exchange for resources. Spending Star Tokens on Resources enables you to claim exclusive Icons! You get a total of 150 Star Tokens F2P from the Star Pass as of now and an additional 180 Star Tokens if you buy the Gold Star Pass.
Note: Star Tokens can be spent on skill boosts, coins, and training XPs or they can be saved up for the future. Yes, Star Tokens do carry forward to the next months, so keep them saved unless you are ready to spend.
FIFA Mobile 20 Star Pass Rewards
There are two categories in the Star Pass Rewards as mentioned above obviously, the premium rewards are more lucrative and better than the free ones.
Star Score Rewards
Engaging in daily and weekly activities one can earn resources from the Star Pass by spending their star score. Resources include coins, skill boosts, training XPs, gems, star tokens, and a Star pass logo.
Gold Star Score Rewards
Purchasing the Gold Star Pass with cash, one gets access to premium rewards, besides resources such as Star Pass Players, exclusive kits and a Gold Star Pass logo.
Note: All the players in the Gold Star Score are auctionable and are available for cheap in the market during the star pass, so you can easily get them from the market hasslefree.
Star Store
This is where you spend your Star Tokens. Earn the tokens from the Star Pass and spend them on this tab on resources. By spending your Star Tokens on special offers, you’ll be on your way to earning Icon Players! As stated earlier the Star tokens can be saved for the future.

Note: The Resource Rewards at the Star Store will refresh and increase at the same rate as the Star Pass Rewards every 4 weeks, in other words, save your star tokens for a better reward ratio in the coming months.
Icon Milestones
Spending Star Tokens gives you access to earn exclusive Icons. The more you engage with Star Pass and other offers, the faster you’ll be able to claim Icon players such as Fabio Cannavaro, George Best, Ruud Gullit, and Prime Icon Roberto Carlos at the end! Just by acquiring the available Skill Boost, Coin and Training XP offers, you’ll be earning progress towards getting the Icon players in Star Pass.
Icon Star Points

Spending Icon Star Points on the store will reward you the Icons which previously appeared in the monthly Icons SBCs. There are some newly introduced Icon players such as Alan Shearer, Lothar Matthaus, and Prime Icon Edwin Van Der Sar! But stay assured, you can’t acquire any of them Free to play unless you are extremely lucky from the store icons Pack.
Our Suggestion
All that glitters is not gold
Icon Milestones
All the four Icons, especially the Prime Icon looks very appealing, but they come at a very high cost.
Cannavaro takes a total of 500 Star Tokens to be spent. Best take a total of 1000 which since is cumulative requires another 500 after you claim Cannavaro. Claiming Gullit and Roberto Carlos asks you to spend a total of 1500 and 2000 Star Tokens respectively.
With F2P being able to claim only 150 Star Tokens through the Star Pass as of now, it will require more than 3 months to claim Cannavaro only if the current rate of Star Tokens is followed in the Star Pass.
Best would require over 6 months, Gullit a total of 10 months and you need to wait a year for Prime Icon Roberto Carlos but nevermind the game would have it’s yearly reset by then, so let’s just settle for Prime Icon Zidane.

Even if you consider buying all the star passes starting from this current month, it will still require you at least 6 months to lay your hand on that Prime Icon Carlos. So just claim the Star tokens, spend them when the store offer suits you and let’s hope EA considers upgrading the amount of Star Tokens or introduces other ways to get them as the timeframe to get these icons are crazy. For now, Cannavaro is all we can get before the end of the season.
Note: You can hold on to your Star Tokens as long as you want but remember keeping them won’t earn you the icons, spending will.
Star Icons
The new icons, Shearer and Matthaus are practically impossible to claim Free to Play. With Shearer requiring users to purchase 5 Star Icons Packs, and players being able to open one Icon Pack every 3 months, it would take 15 months to get hold of Shearer alone and 30 for Matthaus, unless you are lucky enough to get hold of either from the Icons Pack in Store. Even the insane looking Prime Van Der Sar requires 30 months to claim so yes, let’s forget about them.
