Amidst the ever-engaging Freeze Event, EA went ahead and released the Boxing Day Event ahead of Boxing Day. It is a huge event for the month of December, coming right in on top of Freeze and it’s all about Premier League players! The fast-paced action of the Premier League is here with the new FIFA Mobile 21 Boxing Day event. Take control of different Premier League clubs as you battle against other users in VS Attack and Head to Head!

FIFA Mobile 21 Boxing Day Event Description

• Event Duration: December 22nd – January 6th (15 Days)
• Ads: 3 ads daily giving 5 Boxing Day Energy per ad.
• Coin Packs: 8 Coin Packs weekly giving 10 Boxing Day Energy for 9,000 coins.
• Energy: Boxing Day Energy refreshes 1 per hour with a max of 18.

FIFA Mobile 21 Boxing Day Event Flow

Matchups

This is a League Matchups type event, with every day you having four games to play with two being VSA and the other two H2H. Choose between VS Attack or Head to Head as you take control of a custom Premier League lineup. They don’t recycle until the next day so these are the four teams you are stuck on for that particular day.

For both VSA and H2H, you are awarded 25 points for a win, 15 for a draw, and 10 for a loss incurred. It takes 5 event energy per match to play. Additionally, you can earn kits of all the 20 Premier League teams as a first-time win. Playing with different teams earns you better rewards in the Daily Rewards section, but feel free to use the same team multiple times if you wish.

There are additional Bonus Rewards, based on your wins- 1 win, 3 wins, or 5 wins that are up to 900 Boxing Day Points per day. There are also 8 weekly coin packs that give 10 Boxing Day Energy for 9,000 coins each and 3 daily ads giving 5 Boxing Day Energy each.

Note: VS Attack and Head to Head Wins both count towards the milestone. This means that you can win 2 VS Attack matches and 1 Head to Head match to reach the Win 3 H2H/VSA Matches milestone.

Daily Reward

Check-in here to claim a Daily Reward and see all the Premier League teams you’ve won with. Every day there is a daily reward that you can claim. Your Daily Reward will increase as you win with more teams. Therefore if you wait until you get your daily wins in, you can get more points.

Win with every team to earn a 90 OVR CM milestone reward! Once you’ve claimed your Daily Reward, you have to wait until the next reset before you can claim it again. Make sure to play your daily matches with different teams before claiming it, so that you maximize the rewards available.

Note: Naby Keita (90 CM) is free to play as long as you beat all the 20 teams.

Player Rewards

Use your hard-earned Boxing Day Points in the Player Grab for Boxing Day Players. Boxing Day Players from this section are not auctionable on the market until after the event ends. They are meant to be used towards trading for Premium Player Offers.

Trade-in your Boxing Day Players along with Boxing Day Points for even better players! Premium Boxing Day Players use an SBC trade-in format. For example, trade in 2 Boxing Day Players and 9,000 Boxing Day Points for a 90 OVR LM Pedro Neto or 90 OVR LW Jack Harrison. These players can be auctioned on the market immediately.

Note: You can’t get the Boxing Day Players from the market, they can only be obtained from the event.

FIFA Mobile 21 Boxing Day Event Tips and Tricks

Amidst a long and grinding Football Freeze, Boxing Day is a decent event in FIFA Mobile 21. It has a little amount of grind, with daily VSA and H2H matches to play. So here are our additional tips and tricks to help you get the best from the event. It took us a while to get these answers and calculate everything so let’s explain it here.

Matchups

First and foremost as usual this is an event energy-based event. So never ever let your energy get filled out. Don’t let your energy refresh out. Never! Another thing, we usually mention on buying and using your coin packs but here is a special case.

Don’t use your energy, your coin pack energy until you need to for the matchups. The reason being you want to hold that and use it on the days when you are struggling to find a win ie to get the four wins. It is important to win with every four teams per day until you complete all the 20 teams, so don’t use your coin packs until you have to. Use it before it goes away, but hoard it as long as possible. Watch the daily ads and use that energy because you need those 5 wins every day. These are important key factors for the event.

Daily Reward

Wait until you get all your wins in. Complete wins with all the four teams to get the maximum possible Boxing Day Points.

• Day 1 – 75 Points
• Day 2 -105 Points
• Day 3 -155 Points
• Day 4 -230 Points
• Day 5 through 15 – 335 Points
• Grand Total of 4250 Points (if you win 4 every day)

Note: Keita is going to be available by day 5 in the market and won’t be worth much after that as everybody claims him, so be quick with your matchups wins.

Player Rewards

Trade in the Boxing Day Players in an SBC for the Premium Player Offers.

From the table above, it is assured that a 92 rated OVR Player is possible for free to play. Make note that you can earn only 20250 ish points, and that is a hard “ish”. All the 92s are free to play 100%, you can only think for a 93, well if you are highly skilled in either VSA or H2H and use your free Naby Keita as one of the SBC players. Salah and the icons are terribly P2P, so don’t even think about it.

So you are going to claim a bunch of Boxing Day Players and a 92. Therefore, just play your games, play your matches, and take it.

That’s it the Boxing Day in a nutshell. Beyond that, there isn’t a whole lot to say about this event. The players look great, there are gonna be a lot of players in the market after this event as they all go auctionable on the same day making their value go down after the initial sell-off. Personally, we will just settle for a 92 and go back and focus more on Freeze. It is not bad, a decent event but we are a lot more excited about Football Freeze than we are about Boxing Day.
