What are the rewards for completing this Weekly Challenge
Before you jump into the game to hunt for the Dead Drops, it would be helpful to know what’s actually it is going to reward you with. By interacting with just one out of 5 Dead Drops, players will be rewarded with 30K XP added to their account. This will be helpful to your account level, and this hefty addition might even propel you up to the next level.
Challenges like these are very helpful in helping you climb up the levels and earn Battle Stars, which you can exchange for cool cosmetics. It’s also a nice breath of fresh air for players amongst the usual battle royale theme.
Fortnite Dead Drop Locations
In Fortnite, all the 5 Dead Drops are scattered around various locations within Weeping Woods. You check out the following mini-map to see dead shows at the exact points where you can find the Dead Drops. A Dead Drop is simply a tree trunk with a small trapdoor above it. They should be easy to identify as they have a large blue aura around them too.
When you approach them, an option to interact with them will appear, and it’s as easy as holding a button-down. You only need to get a hold of one to get the 30k XP added to your account. Luckily, Weeping Woods is not the most popular location in Fortnite, so you will face low competition doing this challenge. Furthermore, although there are multiple Dead Drops available and you only need one to complete this challenge.
