Guardian Shield in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
The makers of Fortnite have introduced this new shield for the time being while they get ready for the next big update as the Winterfest event almost comes to an end. The Guardian Shield has looks that are similar to the Oathkeeper’s Armor which unlocks the level 100 battle pass skin and allows players to block various attacks. These shields are not available everywhere and can be found in some specific locations and chests and here’s how one can get to them.
Where to find the Guardian Shield in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
The Guardian Shield can be found in chests but not just any chest. It can be found in Oathbound Chests which can be easily identified from other Chests as they are white and gold and can’t be found everywhere. Some of the most probable POIs where an Oathbound Chest can be found is at the Citadel and the Anvil Square along with the mid-to-northeast side of the island.
One can land at Anvil Square and start looking for these chests as they towards the north or west side of the map and reach some lesser visited chest locations. But players should keep in mind that every Oathbound Chest is not bound to carry a Guardian Shield and they might need to look through a couple of them in a single match to come across one as their luck plays a role in them discovering the shield too.
