Winterfest 2022 is coming with Fortnite v23.10 update! Throughout Winterfest, unwrap 14 Presents to obtain 17 gratis in-game goodies, including two gratis outfits. Players will also receive a third outfit for free in another way. Additionally, use non-vaulted gear on the Battle Royale Island and visit various “Winterfest Wonderland” islands. From December 13, 2022, at 9 AM ET, to January 3, 2023, at 9 AM ET, is Winterfest 2022.
Unwrap a new Present at the Lodge every day for 14 days during Fortnite Winterfest 2022
The “Cozy Lodge,” also known as the Winterfest Lodge, is already present in the game! However, Sgt. Winter isn’t in charge this time. Winter fairy Snowdancer, the worn-out Sled Ready Guff, and the well-known Cozy Knit Jonesy can all be found in the Cozy Lodge.
Unwrap a different present every day for 14 days at the Lodge starting on December 13 at 9:15 AM ET. There are a total of 17 goods contained in these 14 presents, including a free Back Bling, Pickaxe, Contrail, Emote, and Emoticon. There are also two outfits, two gliders, two wraps, three lobby tracks, and three sprays. The two free outfits are the Arctic Adeline Outfit and Sled Ready Guff Outfit, however, Epic Games didn’t reveal every present.
As with Winterfests past, the Cozy Lodge is accessible through a snowflake tab in the Lobby. If you miss any days of opening Presents, simply return anytime before Winterfest ends (Jan. 3 at 9 AM ET) and open them up.
In Battle Royale/Zero Build, the armory’s icy equipment is returning! To open the presents and take their goodies during Winterfest 2022, throw down Holiday Presents! and explode-producing snowballs with Snowball Launchers. Sgt. Winter is here at Winterfest 2022, speaking of Holiday Presents! On his unique large rig, he will be cruising the island and tossing Holiday Presents! for the players to find.
Get new Outfits and Emotes for free during Fortnite Winterfest 2022
In the Winterfest Callout, Epic has challenged island creators to create unique and memorable experiences for Winterfest 2022. Some of our favorite islands will be featured in the Winterfest Discover row from December 13, 2022, at 9 AM ET to January 3, 2023, at 9 AM ET! Jump into these islands and keep your Winterfest fresh.
From December 13, 2022, at 9 AM ET, through January 3, 2023, at 9 AM ET, all players who access Fortnite through the Epic Games Launcher will receive the new Guff Gringle Outfit for free! Simply open Fortnite during Winterfest from the Epic Games Launcher on PC, go to the Item Shop, and redeem Guff Gringle.
All Fortnite Crew subscribers who log into Fortnite anytime during the duration of Winterfest (Dec. 13, 2022, at 9 AM ET to Jan. 3, 2023, at 9 AM ET) will immediately receive the reactive Chill-la-la-Llama Back Bling. Constantly cold, Chill-la-la-Llama sneezes each time you get an elimination or open a Chest. This Back Bling is similar to the unwrappable Back Bling in the Cozy Lodge, a fellow Llama who’s also quite chilly. During Winterfest 2022, new and returning wintry Outfits will be sliding into the Item Shop, including Winterfest 2022 VIPs Snowdancer and Cozy Knit Jonesy.
Play in any game mode during Winterfest (December 13, 2022, at 9 AM ET to January 3, 2023, at 9 AM ET) with five different pals from your friend list to unlock the Curling Iron Emote. Grants for rewards start on or around January 6 ET.
Complete Winterfest-themed “This Week” quests for XP while exploring the Cozy Lodge, using unvaulted items, and traversing the Winterfest Callout islands! These weekly quests will be divided into two sets, the first of which will run from December 13 at 9 a.m. ET to December 20 at 9 a.m. ET, and the second from December 20 at 9 a.m. ET to December 27 at 9 a.m. ET.
