Many times players don’t have their luck going right for them while looting and they are stuck with weapons of inferior rarity. Now if players have enough Gold Bars they can upgrade the rarity of their current weapons with the help of Upgrade Benches. For example to upgrade a weapon of Common rarity to Legendary rarity, one will need more than 1000 Gold Bars.
Since upgrading the rarity is kind of expensive and there are not many ways to earn Gold Bars other than completing bounties and opening safes, most players are able to upgrade their weapons just once in the game. The maximum rarity till which players can upgrade their weapons using an Upgrade Bench is till Legendary.

Upgrade Benches can be found in every biome throughout the map but the number of them varies in each biome with the snow one having just one at Crude Harbour. Other biomes have relatively more Upgrade Benches in their areas like the futuristic one has three in total.
12 Upgrade Benches in total can be found throughout the map and their exact locations are shown in the image provided above. But players should keep in mind that these are the locations that are there for the first update of the new season and as more updates drop, the developers might add new benches or might even take away some from older locations.
Using their ammunition and gold bars, gamers can modify their weapons using the Upgrade Bench, a straightforward tool. Players must switch to the weapon they want to upgrade, interact with the Upgrade Bench, and then just choose “Upgrade” from the menu.
