Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is nearing its end and the developers have already started giving clues on what the new season is going to be like through strange seismic activities on the battle royal map. Players have been noticing cracks appearing in various areas of the map along with excavation points being set up to study them. Vines have started coming out from the ground too. So to help Mystica analyze these strange occurrences on the map, one of the quests in Week 12 requires players to place Seismographs on Fault Lines, and here’s how one can do it in Fortnite MEGA.
Where to find Fault Line locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 MEGA
To complete this quest from Week 12, players will first need to locate the Fault Lines on the map which are quite scattered. This might make it difficult for the players to complete this quest in one match itself unless they have a mobility item that will help them travel faster than normal like the ODM Gear or the Spider-Man Web-Shooters from the Spiderverse event. These are the exact locations where players will need to place the Seismographs on the map.
- Near the area where the green fields meet the darker grassy area is located south of Frenzy Fields.
- On the road south of the Autumnwood forest located northeast of Shattered Slabs.
- By the bridge that leads from Mega City to Slappy Shores which is located northeast of Drift Ridge.
An exclamation mark will appear on the map when players will be near a location where a seismograph can be placed which will make looking for the locations further easier for the players.
How to place Seismographs in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 MEGA
Upon reaching the location, players will notice that a gray hologram is appearing in the place where the seismograph needs to be placed. They need to go near this hologram and press and hold on to the “Place” button to interact with it and place the seismograph in that specific location.
After successfully placing the seismograph, it will start monitoring the area and will analyze the seismic activity that has been happening. Upon placing the seismographs in all three locations players will complete this quest and will be rewarded with 25000 experience points. All of these quests are tied with the main story which will lead to the birth of the new season, so this makes these quests even more interesting and fun to complete than normal quests.
