Fortnite is all set to make the battle royale eventful and interesting for its players with the introduction of new cosmetics, skin, and more to grind for in the new season called Wilds. As a part of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 battle pass, Epic Games is introducing Optimus Prime and other characters from the new movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. Optimus Prime is one of the characters which is coming as an exclusive Battle Pass skin which means it will be available for a limited time and won’t stay forever. So here’s how players can get their hands on it.
Optimus Prime comes as the Tier 100 Outfit in Fortnite
Fortnite introduces the Tier 100 Outfit during every new season which is a brand new skin that is either some new design from Fortnite or is a part of a collaboration. The Tier 100 Outfit has mostly been collaboration skins now for some time and this time around it is none other than the iconic Optimus Prime from the Transformers franchise.
To unlock this Optimus Prime outfit, players will need to grind their way till Page 14, Level 94 of the Battle Pass. Upon reaching there, they will need to spend 9 Battle Stars to get their hands on the Tier 100 Outfit of this season.
Players must also remember that they will receive the Barrage Cannon emote which is built in with the Optimus Prime skin which will turn its arm into a giant cannon. But this cannon emote will be just for show and players won’t be able to use it on their enemies.
Optimus Prime skin set in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Wilds
Optimus Prime has a lot of different items and cosmetics in his set in Fortnite. All of them can be found on page 14 of the Battle Pass at different levels. Players will need to grind their way to it and upon reaching the specific levels, they’ll be able to buy the items with certain Battle Stars. Here are all the things that can be bought with a specific amount of Battle Stars at specific levels.
- With 3 Battle Stars at Level 90: Players can get a loading screen by artist David Nakayama which features none other than Optimus Prime and shows the caption “Protect Others, No matter the cost”.
- With 5 Battle Stars at Level 90: Players will be able to claim another item at Level 90 which is the Autobot Emblem Backbling. The back bling has the caption “Autobots, Roll Out!” with a metallic finish on it and is written with a red coat of paint. The caption is the proud crest of the Autobots.
For the next items, the level is not known but it is for sure that all of them can be found on page 14 itself. Here’s all players can get with the specific amount of Battle Stars.
- 3 Battle Stars: Players will be able to get the G1 Optimus Prime Spray using which they can leave their mark on the battlefield on the walls, ceilings, and floors with graffiti that shows Optimus Prime with his axe along with Cybertron behind him.
- 3 Battle Stars: Players will get the Roll Out! Emoticon which is an animated emoticon. It shows the Autobots emblem before it transforms into the words “Roll Out”.
- 7 Battle Stars: With this price tag players will be able to get their hands on the very own pickaxe that Optimum Prime uses which is none other than the Cybertronian Axe.
- 5 Battle Stars: With this amount players will be able to get 100 V-Bucks which might help players purchase other cosmetic items they might want from the shop or even the next season’s Battle Pass.
Battle-Tested skin in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Wilds
Many players might be dissatisfied with how Optimus Prime’s skin looks as it is too clean and makes it look like Optimus Prime has never seen a day of battle in his life, which is very much unlikely from its character in the movies.
So, players who want a more rugged and battle-torn look of the iconic character will love to get their hands on the battle-worn style of skin which they get once they reach Tier 100 from the Bonus Rewards section of the Battle Pass.
Players can reach the Bonus Rewards section once they have climbed through the whole Battle Pass Rewards section. After this, they will need to work their way through to Page 3 which features the Bonus Rewards section. Here players will be able to buy the Battle-Tested style of Optimus Prime for 120 Battle Stars. They can acquire this style only after reaching Level 120.
How to get Optimus Prime in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Wilds
Players will need to give in a lot of effort and time into Fortnite if they want to get their hands on all the skins, items, and cosmetics that have been mentioned above. It’ll take quite some time and so players will need to be patient and grind their way to it. Many might be wondering what would be the best route to choose, but there is no definitive answer as there are a lot of ways to collect all the experience points the players will need.
Players can earn experience points by playing Save the World and also by playing some matches in Creative Maps. But the best way to gain experience points is by taking part in the battle royale itself by opening chests, eliminating players, winning the game, and so on. But this process can be further boosted by completing all the quests and challenges that are released every other week. Players can earn up to 30,000 experience points upon every quest completion which might help them in a great way.
The Optimus Prime skin will stay in the Battle Pass for the players to unlock till the end of the season which will be on 25 August 2023. All of the skins in these sets will be Battle Pass exclusive which means the players won’t get a chance to acquire them anymore once this season gets over, so they should start grinding on the game diligently if they want to reach Tier 100 and get the Optimus Prime Outfit.
