Fortnite’s Chapter 4 Season 3 is going on in full swing and it’s completely different from the previous season as it ditches its futuristic theme and takes over a more prehistoric and wild theme. A new jungle biome has been added to the game along with dangerous wildlife in the form of animals and plants alike. It’s quite tough to survive in the jungle area but a new weapon known as a Cloak Gauntlets has been added to the game with the version 25.10 update and here’s how players can find it and take its help to survive in Fortnite WILDS.

Cloak Gauntlets are of Mythic rarity and are very tough to come across for the same reason. They are also very useful as they help players hide in the dangerous jungle biome from enemies and wildlife alike by turning them invisible which is why everyone wants to get their hands on it.
Players can obtain Cloak Gauntlets in any two ways for now in Fortnite. Either than can try to find it as the standard version of the Cloak Gauntlets as floor loot or inside chests by looking for it in POIs with more probability of having high amounts of loot. Or they can choose to go fight against NPC boss Wildguard Relik if they want to acquire the improved version of the Cloak Gauntlets.
How to use Cloak Gauntlets in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Wilds
Even though Cloak Gauntlets are tough to come across, they are pretty easy to use. Their function is to make the players turn invisible so that they can blend into the environment of the new jungle biome POIs. Players can do so by simply equipping the Cloak Gauntlets and activating them after that.
We previously discussed the standard and improved version of the Cloak Gauntlets, both of them are of Mythic rarity and the only difference they have is of their cooldown time and cloak duration. The standard version has a cooldown time of 30 seconds and a cloak duration of 20 seconds whereas the improved version which players can get by defeating Wildguard Relik has a cooldown time of 20 seconds and a cloak duration of 39 seconds.
Players won’t be able to attack while Cloak Gauntlets are in use
Both of them have an infinite number of chargers so players can use them as many times as they want after each cooldown interval. Players won’t be able to attack their enemies while cloaked and will need to reveal themselves in order to do so. They will also turn visible if they swap items in their inventory or unequip the gauntlets.
This is a great way to camouflage into the environment and is very effective, but if players fail to come across Cloak Gauntlets, they can always use mud to camouflage into the environment and also stop themselves from getting spotted by players using the Thermal DMR.
