Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS has brought a lot of changes to the game since the beginning of the season. Epic Games did a whole revamp of the map turning it from futuristic to prehistoric in the next season. Players also noticed that they were not finding enough options to help them travel across the map as fast as they could in the previous seasons. After many players voiced their concerns, the developers decided to bring back one of the previous mobility items in the game known as the Grapple Glove. Here’s how players can find and use it.

The Grapple Glove has been reintroduced in Fortnite because of a lot of complaints which had been stating that there was a lack of mobility items in the game. It is an Epic rarity item so players won’t be able to find it as easily as other items. It can be found in either chest loot or floor loot.
The greatest chance of finding the Grapple Glove in Fortnite is in the Zero Build mode after it was unvaulted unannounced by the developers. Players have a ten percent greater chance of finding the Grapple Glove as chest loot while having a five percent greater chance of finding it as floor loot in the Zero Build mode.
How to use the Grapple Glove in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Wilds
The Grapple Glove can be used by players to swing from one place to another which is faster than travelling by walking or running. It has a similar mechanism to items like the ODM Gear or the Spider-Man web shooters which were previously available in Fortnite. Players will need to aim the Grapple Glove and shoot at an object to grapple it.
The Grapple Glove has 30 charges in total and vanishes from the player’s inventory after they have exhausted all of the charges. It also has a cooldown to stop players from continuously swinging. They will need to get down to the surface level for the cooldown to initiate after which they can use the item again. The duration of the cooldown increases after each use. After the first use, the cooldown lasts for five seconds, after the second use it lasts for ten seconds and after the third use it lasts for fifteen seconds.
