Fortnite is a game that is forever evolving in some way or the other. In every new season, we see various additions no matter big or small being implemented into Epic Games’ battle royale. One of the things that keep coming and going back from the game is its wildlife. With the new season, we saw Raptors getting reintroduced into the game. Now another feature has been added to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Wilds which lets players pet other wildlife in the game like boars and wolves. So here’s how they can do it.
How to find Boars and Wolves in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS
Even though players can find and tame Raptors to ride them on the map, they can’t be shown affection from players. But the developers allow the players to pet other wildlife in the game such as boars and wolves. They can spawn almost anywhere on the map as they have no specific spawning spot.
As they have no fixed location to spawn at, it can’t be said for sure where they can be found but there are locations where the probability of finding them is considerably higher than in other regions.
As they are wild animals, the chances of finding them near cities is significantly lesser which rules out places such as Mega City and Slappy Shores. The new season has introduced quite a number of locations with dense vegetation such as Breakwater Bay, Steamy Springs, Creeky Compound, and Shattered Slabs and players are highly likely to find these creatures on the outskirts or inside of these locations.
How to pet Boars and Wolves in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS
Players can only pet those animals who have been tamed beforehand, which means they’ll have to earn their trust before they can pet them. The quickest way to tame an animal is to jump and sit on its back before it gets a chance to attack the player. This can be a dangerous way to tame an animal as board and wolves are quite hostile but it is the fastest way.
The safer route includes pressing the Tame button to tame the animal after offering them some meat. This might take longer than the previous way but once they’ve been successfully tamed, they will allow the players to ride on them and also help them during fights. After taming a boar or wolf successfully, all the players have to do is sit on its back and the Pet button will appear on the screen simply just tapping on it will make the players character start petting the animal.
