Fortnite has chosen the nostalgic route for its new season which is also named Fortnite OG and has brought back its original map which is loved by all of its player base. A lot of old weapons and locations have been coming back into Fortnite after all these years of being vaulted. The mysterious hidden gnomes are one of those items that are coming back to the game after many years and finding them will let you earn 20000 XP for each of the gnomes. There are ten gnomes in total which means you can earn up to 20000 XP by finding them and go up to 2.5 levels in the Battle Pass of Fortnite OG. So here’s how everyone can find the Hidden Gnome locations in Fortnite OG.
List of all the Hidden Gnome locations in Fortnite OG
This is not the first time that mysterious gnomes can be spotted in Fortnite. They can be found in specific areas only and once you interact with them, they will be gone for good which means that you can earn the XP for one location for a single time only.
The locations are pretty easy to find as soon as you go close enough to it, the exact location of the gnome can be seen marked on the map with a “!” which will help you navigate better. But for those who need exact directions on how to reach all the gnomes, here’s how they can find all of the ten hidden gnomes in Fortnite OG.
- Junk Junction – After heading to this location, you will need to continue going North and you will find a giant llama status made out of metal materials. The gnome can be seen sitting here with a pile of bricks.
- Pleasant Park – After entering this place, you will need to head South of the soccer pitch where you can see this gnome sitting beside a campfire along with a teddy bear and a cooler.
- Between Titled Towards and Greasy Grove – You will be able to find a mountain with three trees and a giant rock over here. The gnome can be seen sitting beside the giant rock with three teddy bears sitting on the ground facing it.
- Shifty Shafts – You will need to destroy the wooden wall in the lower level of the mines at this location and will find a gnome playing a game of cards with some teddy bears.
- East of Shifty Shafts – Over here, you will need to climb the mountain which is closest to the bend of the river. On the top of this mountain, you will be able to spot a Battle Bus with a gnome which can be seen lying head first in the dirt.
- Dusty Divot – You will need to keep going towards the West of the massive crater. Here you will come across a small puddle of water where the gnome can be seen sunbathing alongside a teddy bear.
- Risky Reels – You will be able to find two camper fans if you head towards the northern region of the location. A gnome can be seen sitting behind these vans waiting for you to find it.
- Wailing Woods – You will need to go to the center of this location where you will find a maze. Towards the left of this hedge maze, a gnome can be seen trapped inside a metal cage. You simply need to destroy the cage and the gnome will be all yours.
- Lonely Lodge – The gnome at this location can be found in the North area beside a small water body. It can seen sitting there with a fishing rod in its hand.
- Paradise Palms – You will need to head east of this location right beside the cliff. Over here you will be able to locate a gnome that can be seen mourning at two graves.
What is the history behind these Hidden Gnomes in Fortnite OG
Back in the earliest seasons of Chapter One of Fortnite many mysterious gnomes could be seen at various strange locations on the map. They would be out of place doing some out-of-character activity and many quests and objectives were released regarding them which upon completion would reward you with XP. Now as the whole theme of the new season is going back to the early routes of the game, even the mysterious hidden gnomes have also found their way back into Fortnite OG.
