Fortnite is one of the most popular games in the world. The Epic Games battle royale is known for its new set of content it adds every month with a new update along with new gameplay mechanics too. For the Most Wanted event, a new game mechanic called the Heat Level has been introduced at the top right corner of the screen, and here’s what the different symbols mean and how to increase them.
How to increase the Heat Level in Fortnite Most Wanted event
Heat Level can be increased in a number of ways in Fortnite but the easiest way to gain the levels is by just simply playing the game. As players interact more with the game, like killing enemies and traveling a lot of distance, they will see that the icons are getting filled up eventually and the Cold Blooded Bosses are becoming more hostile and vicious gradually too in respect to the Heat Level.
Other ways to increase the Heat Level other than just killing enemies is by using the payphones at the major POIs. This will increase the Heat Level manually and will also cost gold. But it also makes sure that you don’t need to fight the Cold Blooded Bosses and guards in turn but also get to reap the rewards of the Heat Levels.
Perks of different Heat Levels in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
Once the first icon of the Heat Level will get filled up, the Bosses will start shooting the players on site and so they need to be extra careful. Though players shouldn’t feel bad as it is not just disadvantageous to have a Heat Level, here are the various benefits one can have according to their level:
- Heat Level One: The opponents who will be eliminated will drop gold bars
- Heat Level Two: Movement speed gets increased by 15 percent and the health of the player will regenerate up to 100 out of combat.
- Heat Level Three: Movement speed gets increased by 20 percent and the health of the player will regenerate up to 100 along with 50 shields out of combat.
- Heat Level Four: Movement speed gets increased by 25 percent and the health of the player will regenerate up to 100 along with 100 shields out of combat.
All of these perks make the risk of going through so much hassle to get to it worth it in the end.
