They have now released the Proximity Grenade Launcher in Fortnite OG and here’s how you can find and use them properly.
How to get the Proximity Grenade Launcher in Fortnite OG
If you are looking for the Proximity Grenade Launcher, you will be able to find it in chests and supply drops. It can’t be found as floor loot so you should try to look in POIs where the spawn rate of items in the chest is more than others normally. The Proximity Grenade Launcher also comes with two rockets initially equipped with it from the beginning in Fortnite OG.
How to use the Proximity Grenade Launcher in Fortnite OG
The Proximity Grenade Launcher works differently from a normal Grenade Launcher or a Sticky Grande Launcher for that matter. If you shoot a grenade with this, it does lose altitude as much as the other launchers. For comparison, the normal Grenade Launcher has an altitude of 100 meters, a Sticky Grenade Launcher has an altitude of 200 meters and the Proximity Grenade Launcher has an altitude of 300 meters.
The launcher is also equipped with an optical scope which along with its high altitude makes it a great weapon for you to use. The launcher is also unique because if used properly and the enemy is within range, the grenade will rebound off the surface and go towards the target which means you’ll still be able to deal damage even if you are not able to hit your target directly.
