The Grapple Glove became one of the most popular mobility items in Fortnite in Chapter 4 alongside the ODM Gear and the Spider-verse Web Shooters. This is because there was a lack of options to choose from within mobility items and the Grapple Glove became an instant hit among the players. But sadly it became faulted after the end of Chapter 4 Season 4. Many thought that they wouldn’t be able to use the Grapple Glove again for a lock time, but Epic Games has once again introduced it in Fortnite OG which is based on the Chapter 1 map of the game. The Grapple Glove is very difficult to acquire and here’s how you can get your hands on it in Fortnite OG.
How to get the Grapple Glove in Fortnite OG
Fortnite had a lot of NPCs in the previous seasons. But as the theme of this season is based on Chapter 1 of the game itself, it doesn’t have any NPCs as Fortnite didn’t have any at that time itself. This is what makes acquiring the Grapple Glove very difficult as it can only be obtained through a random rift encounter in the game.
NPCs used to appear at specific places on the map during each map in Fortnite. But random characters would also appear anywhere on the map out of nowhere and be impossible to predict. These encounters are known as random rift encounters.
Even though no NPCs were supposed to be there on the map for this season, a recent update has added a random rift encounter in the game in the form of the Anarchy Agent NPC which can spawn anywhere on the map along with a toolbox that contains a Grapple Glove. This is why getting your hands on it is very difficult to know when or where this encounter will occur on the map.
