Since these are the topmost floors of the Abyss, ensure that you have units that are at least sufficiently built for the teams they are in. In this guide, we will explain the new changes in the current Spiral Abyss, how to clear them in the current Genshin Impact 4.4 patch update, and the most optimal teams that can be used.

First Half

  • In each of the four waves, the adversaries converge on the monolith, with three enemies spawning per wave. Despite their singular focus on the monolith, this stage proves relatively manageable due to the limited number of foes, their mutual spawning, and their tendency to encircle the monolith naturally. There’s no necessity to employ Anemo Crowd Control (CC) to gather them. Simply position yourself near the monolith in each wave and engage the approaching Hilichurls Mitachurls.

Second Half

  • In the initial wave, six Slimes materialize around the Monolith. The Hydro Slimes target the Monolith, while the remaining Slimes pursue you. If equipped with Anemo characters such as Sucrose, Kazuha, or Venti, employing their Skills or Bursts to Swirl all the Slimes at once is the optimal approach, applicable in every wave featuring Slimes. Without Anemo Crowd Control, focus on defeating the Slimes individually, particularly those closest to the Monolith. The smaller Slimes have relatively low HP, facilitating their swift elimination.
  • Despite the term “waves,” Slimes spawn anew upon defeating any Slime on the field. For instance, dispatching one Slime prompts the appearance of the next at its location until all 18 Slimes are in play.

Chamber 2

First Half

  • In the initial phase, two Geovishaps emerge nearby at the front, showcasing heightened resistance to Geo elements. These creatures actively pursue the player, facilitating the opportunity to group them. However, they are susceptible to knockback, requiring strategic positioning to align them in the same line of sight, preferably against a wall for more effective control.
  • As their health diminishes to 40% or after a prolonged duration, the Geovishaps undergo an elemental transformation, imbuing themselves with Hydro and Cryo, respectively. While their resistance to these elements increases, they maintain a constant Hydro/Cryo status, enabling players to exploit elemental reactions. Additionally, exploiting a vulnerability, the Geovishaps experience a momentary stun when executing a slam attack against a shielded character.
  • The subsequent wave introduces two Vishaps at the rear, located closely. Without Anemo crowd control, players can prompt a swim attack by positioning themselves against the back wall, enticing the Vishaps to pursue. It’s essential to note that these Vishaps possess a 30% resistance to Physical and Hydro damage, making it advisable to bring well-equipped characters.
  • Two challenging abilities to watch out for are Cleansing Shower: This skill depletes energy from the active character. Characters with less than 10 Energy suffer substantial health loss, irrespective of the presence of a shield. Spike Field (unofficial name): This move generates water splashes from the ground, capable of easily staggering or interrupting characters without a shield.

Second Half

  • In the initial phase, all adversaries materialize in the forward section, closely positioned. This arrangement suggests a deliberate setup to encourage the utilization of Anemo for Swirling Hydro onto the Pyro Abyss Mage’s shield, presenting a highly effective tactic.
  • Once the shield dissipates, the Abyss Mage becomes virtually incapacitated and exceptionally susceptible. Therefore, prioritize the removal of its Pyro shield, with Hydro proving to be the most advantageous element for this task. Dispatch the Abyss Mage promptly after dispelling the shield, and subsequently, address the Slimes.
  • The identical approach applies to the second wave, where the Cryo Abyss Mage is encircled by Pyro Slimes, providing an opportune moment for your Anemo character to Swirl the entire situation.

Chamber 3

First Half

  • There exists a solitary wave in this scenario, with the 2 Ruin Drakes emerging on the opposite end of the area. However, the positioning is inconsequential, as engaging with one Ruin Drake prompts the other to pursue.
  • The recommended strategy here is straightforward: employ brute force. Despite the enemy’s hovering nature, melee attacks function as usual. The primary focus involves continuous attacks while evading any incoming assaults.
  • Several vulnerable points are discernible on these Ruin Drakes: The Thruster Weak Points, resembling wings, are solely exposed when the enemy is airborne and their integrity remains intact. The Chest Weak Point reveals itself exclusively during the Missile Barrage attack (unofficial name) – the Ruin Drake locks onto players and unleashes a barrage of missiles. The Head Weak Point is only exposed during the Energy Surge attack (unofficial name) – the Ultimate move involving a charging sequence followed by the dispersal of bombs into the air.
  • Opting to target these weak points is a matter of personal choice. If engaging with the hovering adversary proves challenging, paralyzing it before initiating a barrage of attacks is a viable alternative.

Second Half

  • In the initial wave, all adversaries materialize in a configuration surrounding your active characters, maintaining a moderate distance. The ensuing dynamic results in numerous elemental reactions, given the presence of a diverse array of elements.
  • Initiating the challenge, it is advisable to direct attention primarily towards the Mirror Maiden in each wave. This adversary boasts the highest HP and ATK, often employing teleportation to evade proximity. The remaining Treasure Hoarders will eventually pursue or attempt to position themselves within range to unleash their bomb attacks.
  • This is where the efficacy of Anemo crowd control becomes paramount, as the goal is to consolidate the adversaries into a single location rather than dealing with them individually. Given the varying movements of the Treasure Hoarders—either backing up or advancing—utilizing Anemo Vacuum ensures their immobilization, eliminating any unpredictability.
  • While the term ‘waves’ is used, enemies resurface upon the defeat of a specific adversary on the field. For instance, vanquishing a Pyro Treasure Hoarder results in the subsequent Pyro Treasure Hoarder emerging at the same location, maintaining this pattern for all elemental Treasure Hoarders and Mirror Maidens.

Optimal Team Comps to use on Floor 11 in Genshin Impact 4.4 Update Spiral Abyss

For the first half, it’s recommended to use any element except Hydro. While Hydro DPS can work, be cautious because Primordial Vishap have some resistance to Hydro. Physical DPS is not ideal due to high resistance from Vishaps and Ruin Drakes. Shields are preferred over healers, especially in Chamber 2, where Vishaps can be stunned when charging at a shielded character. In Chamber 3, bring a bow-user to handle hovering Ruin Drakes when they go above melee range.

For the second half, Anemo is highly recommended. It works well in Chamber 1 by swirling Slimes, in Chamber 2 against Abyss Mages with Slimes, and in Chamber 3 for gathering numerous enemies. While Anemo is the best choice, other elemental reactions work too, as long as you have a character to counter the Slimes. Sucrose alone can effectively handle the first and second chambers.
