Genshin Impact released a new playable 4-star character, Kirara, in Version 3.7. Kirara is a Dendro Sword character who is a Shield-focused unit. She is meant to use and rely on her Elemental Skill to enable her Shield and have it be on reset in every rotation. There are several options for Artifact Sets and Artifact stats for Kirara as each build and sub-stats depends on various amount of factors such as the way you build her and the team comps you will run her as. Regardless, here is a complete guide to the best Artifacts Build for Kirara in Genshin Impact.
Best Artifacts Build for Kirara in Genshin Impact
Artifact Sets
4-piece: Deepwood Memories | Sets to built |
---|---|
Explanation: If no one else is utilizing the 4-piece Deepwood set on your team that focuses on dishing out Dendro DMG (E.g- Spread teams with a Dendro Main DPS), then this set will be your best option to use on Kirara as it shreds the enemy’s Dendro Resistance for more Dendro DMG. Be mindful that the Dendro RES shred only lasts for 8s and may have downtime without Kirara swapping in or unlocking her 4th Constellation. | 2-Pieces: Dendro DMG Bonus +15%. 4-Pieces: After Elemental Skills or Bursts hit opponents, the targets’ Dendro RES will be decreased by 30% for 8s. This effect can be triggered even if the equipping character is not on the field. |
4-piece: Glided Dreams | Sets to built |
---|---|
Explanation: This 4-piece set is a general best-in-slot set for a Spread DPS Kirara and is viable if her team composition has another Dendro unit who can utilize the 4-piece Deepwood Memories set. This set will provide a high amount of EM and a decent quantity of ATK for dishing out more personal DMG from Kirara. | 2-Pieces: Increases Elemental Mastery by 80. 4-Pieces: Within 8s of triggering an Elemental Reaction, the character equipping this will obtain buffs based on the Elemental Type of the other party members. ATK is increased by 14% for each party member whose Elemental Type is the same as the equipping character, and Elemental Mastery is increased by 50 for every party member with a different Elemental Type. Each of the aforementioned buffs will count up to 3 characters. This effect can be triggered once every 8s. The character who equips this can still trigger its effects when not on the field. |
4-piece: Noblesse Oblige | Sets to built |
---|---|
Explanation: The 4-piece Noblesse Oblige set is suitable if you are running Kirara as a Support with an Electro DPS in the team (Quicken with an Aggravate driver team comp). It can buff your team’s ATK and can help amplify Kirara’s Elemental Burst damage. Although if you run this set on Kirara then you would need enough ER to use your Elemental Burst every rotation. The set is viable if the team does not rely much on Dendro DMG or has a Dendro DPS on the team (basically Aggravate teams). | 2-Pieces: Elemental Burst DMG +20%. 4-Pieces: Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack. |
4-piece: Instructor | Sets to built |
---|---|
Explanation: The instructor is another alternative option from the 4-piece Noblesse Oblige set if you are planning to use Support Kirara in a Quicken-Aggravate or Quicken-Spread team comps where your main damage dealer is an Electro DPS or a Dendro DPS. The 4-piece bonus set gives the team a whole EM buff. This set is only exclusive for Quicken-centered team comps as it may prove to be difficult to trigger the 4-piece bonus in Bloom teams. Keep in mind that the bonus set needs to be triggered on-field. The effect does not stack with other characters that also equipped the Instructor set. | 2-Pieces: Increases Elemental Mastery by 80. 4-Pieces: Upon triggering an Elemental Reaction, increases all party members’ Elemental Mastery by 120 for 8s. |
2-piece: Vourukasha’s Glow 2-piece: Tenacity of the Millelith | Sets to built |
---|---|
Explanation: Running a 2-piece/2-piece Set of just an HP% bonus is a viable option if you planning on building Kirara as a pure Shield character. Kirara’s Shield scales with her HP so your focus should be to stack as much HP as possible to tank any incoming damages with her Shield. This combination is vastly recommended as it can be easier to farm in Domains and can give better sub-stat flexibility. | 2-Pieces: HP +20% 2-Pieces: HP +20% |
2-piece: Deepwood Memories/Emblem of Severed Fate/Flower of Paradise Lost/Gilded Dreams/ Wanderer’s Troupe | Sets to built |
---|---|
Explanation: If the mentioned 4-piece sets are difficult to farm then a combination of 2-piece sets is the way to go for a DPS-focused Kirara. 2-piece Sets that provide Elemental Mastery (EM), Dendro DMG Bonus, Energy Recharge, and ATK are some of the suggested combinations that players can experiment on. For a DPS Kirara, as she is a Dendro character, your priority should be to stack EM and ATK onto her. Fortunately, while Kirara can deal Elemental Burst DMG with her Burst, she does not require a lot of ER. Her ER cost is quite low and as such you can focus on other stats rather than ER like most DPS units. | 2-piece: Deepwood Memories: Dendro DMG Bonus +15%. Flower of Paradise Lost/Gilded Dreams/ Wanderer’s Troupe: Increases Elemental Mastery by 80. Emblem of Severed Fate: Energy Recharge +20% Echoes of an Offering/Vermillion Hereafter/Shimenawa’s Reminiscence/Gladiator’s Finale: ATK +18%. |
Artifact Stats
Before we talk about the priority of Artifact stats, the first thing that should be focused on is on how much Energy Recharge is sufficient enough for Kirara. Luckily for Kirara, she has quite low Elemental Burst cost (60 ER Cost) compared to many of the other playable characters that has been released recently. Despite that being the case, there is a certain threshold she still needs to fill in order to dish our frequent and optimal team rotations.
Kirara’s ER Requirements:
- Kirara’s ER is important depending on certain team comps and artifact sets you to build onto her. Kirara’s kit in general focuses mostly on providing a Shield for her allies and herself. A case where you would need to use her Burst is when you are using her as a DPS, need a Dendro applicator, or use Noblesse Oblige for the 4-piece bonus.
- As such, her target Energy Recharge will vary based on certain factors but generally around 140% to 160% ER is good for a Burst reliant build.
- However, if Kirara is the only Dendro character in the party she would need around 150-170% ER.
For substats you would generally prioritize on stacking as much HP as possible for a Shield focus build, afterwards look mainly for EM, ER, and Crit stats.
Flower | Feather | Sands | Goblet | Circlet |
---|---|---|---|---|
HP | ATK | HP (Shield) ATK/EM (DPS) | HP (Shield) Dendro DMG Bonus (DPS) | HP (Shield) Crit Rate/Crit DMG (DPS or if running on Favonius Sword) |
