Genshin Impact: Best quests to increase your Adventure Rank

Increase your Adventure Rank now!

After some days (or hours) of gameplay, the amount of available XP in Genshin Impact is far shorter than the requirements for the next level. That can lead to a frustrating stagnation or just dissatisfaction with the overall loots. You may not remember, but we have said in our Beginners guide how it is important to upgrade your Adventure Rank. Starting on level 25, your world upgrades a level at each 5 AR levels. Each World Level increases the monster’s level and the rarity of the loot dropped. So, once you start to focus on buffing your characters, having the best itemization really comes in handy. In this Genshin Impact guide, we will point out two of the most XP rewarding quests, as well as how to complete them and increase your Adventure Rank (AR) easily.

Two quests to increase your Adventure Rank quickly

1. Time and the Wind

The most rewarding quest right now on Mondstadt, this will you 500 XP. To enable it, you must walk through the water until you reach the Nameless Island. You can perform this quite easily using the Cryo characters. From there, you must go to an abandoned camping spot where a breakable rock waits for you. Break it and you will earn Ragged Notebook.

Once you have it, go to the island clock and change the game time to be between 2 and 5 AM, and look for the Green spots. Those are concentrated Anemo, and to dissipate you must use an Anemo skill.

Once you dissipate all four, a Deposit of Winds will appear in the middle of the island level 35 Eye of the Storm will appear. After the battle, it will flee to Mondstadt, where you shall follow it using the airflow.
You will find a sundial identical to the one on the island, and once you fast-forward the game to 2 A.M there will be identical Clusters of Wind.

Once they are gone, another eye of the storm will appear, this time around at level 40. It will also summon some other monsters like Anemo Slimes. Defeat them and talk to Henry Morton to receive 500 adventure XP, 60 Prismogems, 4 Hero’s Wit, 6 Mystic Enhancement Ore, and 60000 Mora.

2. The Chi of Guyun

This Liyue quest, although being long, is very rewarding.
Start it by talking to Yan’ner, an NPC found near the Ruins on the South of Wuwang Hill. After exploring the ruins, you will fight a Ruin Hunter. Read the Incomplete writing and find the 3 strange stones mentioned before. They will all be near the bigger orange stones. Open a Precious Chest and retrieve one Collected Fragment.

This fragment will be used with some others, but to find them you’ll need to ask locals. On Qingce Village, talk to people until one of them tell you to look for Granny Ruoxin. From there, you will be prompted to look for fragments near Geo Statues. There will be a text guiding you to activate the statues in North, South-East, North-West, North-East, South-West order. You can also count from left to right each statue as 1-2-3-4-5 and activate them as 3>5>2>4>1. You receive another Fragment.

From there you will need to go to the highest point of the Village and look for the statue that faces Stormterror’s Lair. Using this as a reference, activate it first, then activate the third, fourth, and sixth statues in the clockwise order. You receive another Fragment.

With three of them in hand, return to Granny and you will be directed to a vault nearby. On the entrance, there is a deactivated Ruin Guard. If you climb above it, there will be a Geoculus. There will be a lot of battling, but the rewards sure make up for it.
