In this quest, players need to help Xavier in shooting a film. Xavier is the NPC hailing from Inazuma that players meet during the Tatara Tales quest. To begin the Seventh Samurai quest, travelers need to complete the Tatara Tales quest chain.
How to complete the Genshin Impact Seventh Samurai quest
Xavier’s location
Post completion of the Tatara Tales quest, Xavier is relieved of his burden of fixing the Mikage Furnace and therefore is able to focus on pursuing his interest in filmmaking, for which he came from Fontaine to Inazuma.
Starting location
Players will find Xavier on the island to the right of Inazuma City. He will be right next to Toranosuke. Players will be tasked with helping Xavier to finish a scene from his film “The Seventh Samurai”, where the traveler is the center of attention. Xavier shares the script of the movie with the players, which is based on the travelers’ fight with the Fatui. Once the players are ready, they can talk to Xavier again.
Players will need to follow Xavier’s directions, which are as follows :
- Stay in the center of the Kamera frame. Straying from the frame for a long duration will lead to failing the quest. Don’t worry though. If you fail, there is always the chance to retry.
- Defeat the three enemies(bandits) within the time limit of 1 minute.
- Change position three times. The locations will be marked on the map, just head to the spot to complete the requirement.
Once the filming ends, players need to talk with Xavier which marks the end of the quest.
