Genshin Impact Version 6.4 Phase 1 banners will go live from 25th February 2026 till 17th March 2026. The Phase 1 banners will feature one new playable character, one re-run character in a dual banner, and the Chronicle Banner.

Who should you go for between Varka and Flins in Genshin Impact Version 6.4 Phase 1
Genshin Impact Phase 1 banners feature Varka and Flins in Version 6.4, and it’s hard to decide who to pull. It depends on your team’s needs and your priorities for future content. Each character brings unique strengths to the table, but some offer more immediate and long-term value than others. Here’s a breakdown to help you decide.
1. Varka
Varka is the newest 5-star Anemo main DPS Claymore user. He can deal Hydro, Pyro, Electro, and Cryo damage by infusing different elements in his Claymore. He is an Anemo DPS, but he doesn’t deal good Anemo damage. His main damage comes from different element Infusion. Varka is good for exploration; he can jump when we hold his skills.
2. Flins
Flins is a 5-Star Electro DPS who introduces a flexible burst-centric playstyle through Lunar Charge, letting him deal massive frontloaded damage or ramp into powerful triple burst rotations with proper energy management. His kit shines when paired with a Hydro unit and another Electro support, making him a natural fit for reaction-heavy teams that focus on consistent Electro-Hydro synergy.
At this moment, Flins is the strongest Electro DPS, and he is the 4th strongest DPS in Genshin Impact. Both his F2P team and Premium team deal massive damage. If you already have Ineffe and Columbina, he is a must-pull character for your account.
Should You Pull Chronicle Banner Characters
Should you pull Chronicle banner characters? Honestly, no. The Chronicle wish banner is coming back in Version 6.4. This time, the Chronicle Wish Banner is featuring Albedo, Klee, Jean, Eula, Mona, and Diluc. Six characters in total, three limited and three standard characters. Here are the reasons why you shouldn’t pull in this banner:
- In this banner, only Klee and Albedo have pull values. You can get the other three standard characters by losing 50/50, and Eula’s damage is not good enough. That’s why pulling in this banner does not make any sense, where you can lose 50/50 to a standard character.
- In Chronicle banners, your fate point resets with each Chronicle banner, so don’t pull until you have enough pulls.
- Latest Nod Krai and Natlan Supports and DPS capabilities are better than the old Mondstat characters. Even with the buffed kit, they can’t compete against them.
Final Thoughts
Between the two, Varka and Flins, pulling Flins is a better option because of his damage output. Flins don’t have many team options like Varka, Varka premium team damage, and Flins F2P team both deals same damage. If you want a character for exploration and don’t care about damage that much, then Varka is perfect for you. If you want a strong DPS, then pull Flins.
