Honor of Kings Battle of Awakening Mode Guide: Detailed Breakdown, Rewards and more

As part of Season 7 in Honor of Kings, a new limited-time mode, Battle of Awakening will be available from October 4th to October 17th, 2024. This 5v5 mode is designed to elevate gameplay to a whole new level by giving every hero access to enhanced abilities, making battles more intense and dynamic. Unlike the other modes, where ability timing and placement are crucial, Battle of Awakening emphasizes explosive plays, giving room for exciting, game-changing moments.

Honor of Kings Battle of Awakening Mode: Overview

In Battle of Awakening mode, your team is presented with a limited pool of random heroes, out of which you would get to choose 1 hero to use. In the Battle of Awakening mode, all heroes are enhanced and are more powerful than they are on a normal. Thus, allowing for more quick and fun matches to be played in this mode.

While playing in the Battle of Awakening mode, some of the unique features and enhancements that can be observed in the mode include:

• Accelerated Levelling and Combat Pace
• Higher Basic attack and Damage
• Lower Battle Spell Cooldown (allowing you to stack up to 2 Flash spells)
• Wider Skill-Cast range
• Higher Skill Damage
• Lower Skill Cooldown

What sets this mode apart is how unique each enhanced hero is. Each match feels like you’re playing the broken versions of the heroes as the damage bonuses and ability enhancements make them super powerful. In the hero pick phase, it is advisable to go for heroes with AOE and CC skills as they seem to be more powerful in this gameplay mode. As their Overall abilities would now be much more annoying to deal with and counter.

Some Heroes in Battle of Awakening Mode

Let’s take a look at how enhanced and powerful some heroes are in this new gameplay mode.

Angela

Taking a look at mage-hero Angela, you will notice a few ability enhancements for her:

• Her first skill remains the same
• Angela’s second skill will now fire three large fireballs in the target direction. The fireballs will spread out allowing Angela to easily stun multiple enemies in a larger area.
• Angela’s ultimate ability will now fire three Blazing Beams in a straight line dealing high burst magic damage to enemies.

Lu Bu

Taking a look at fighter-hero Lu Bu, you will notice some ability enhancements for him:

• In this new mode, Lu Bu is exceedingly powerful as his abilities have incredibly lower cool down. This, allows him to trigger the true damage from his passive ability easily.
• Lu Bu’s First skill now has a much larger skill width and lower Cooldown
• Lu Bu’s Second skill now has a much larger skill width allowing him to easily poke from a far distance.
• Lu Bu’s ultimate ability casts more easily allowing him to trap enemies and defeat them easily.

Hou Yi

Taking a look at Farm-lane hero Hou Yi, we notice a few ability enhancements for his second and ultimate ability:

• His Second ability will now inflict damage and slow enemies in a much larger area.
• Hou Yi’s ultimate ability will still start to move in a straight line but now you will be able to control how it moves. In short, it’s a more effective ultimate ability that allows you to effectively seek out and stun nearby enemies.

Battle of Awakening Mode: Rewards

Most limited-time events in Honor of Kings reward players with exclusive skins, titles, or in-game currency for completing this mode. These rewards will encourage all of us to return to Battle of Awakening, continuously improving our strategies and experimenting with different heroes.
