Honor of Kings (HOK) is set to shake up the battlefield with its first global update, arriving September 25th, 2024 alongside the start of a new Ranked Season 7. The new Ranked Season 7 will introduce a host of new heroes, gameplay mode additions, and intriguing collaborations.
The latest update will also feature many battlefield adjustments, gorge battlefield upgrades, and system improvements to make the game more balanced for everyone. These upcoming adjustments and additions will further enhance the overall uniqueness of the game.
Honor Of Kings Ranked Season 7 Update: What to Expect
As of September 25th, the new ranked Season 7, Architects of Fate will begin and will be featuring lots of exciting new additions. The new Season will be introducing new heroes, and gameplay modes as well as lots of system adjustments and battlefield changes. The upcoming new additions scheduled to release alongside the new Ranked Season 7 are highlighted below:
New Heroes
The new Support hero, Dyadia will be released immediately ranked Season 7 begins. As a support hero, Dyadia specializes in simultaneously healing and dealing with damage, making her an indispensable asset to any team formation.
Ranked Season 7 will also include 4 extra new heroes that would debut at different intervals throughout the season run-time.
New gameplay modes
The new Ranked Season 7 update will be bringing about a new gameplay mode titled, Roguelite Mode: MechCraft Veteran. This new limited-time gameplay mode will be available from September 25th till October 22nd, 2024. The gameplay mode features 7 heroes, 4 different map environments, 149 kinds of in-match items, and 3 major chapter contents.
In this mode, you can arm your hero with any of your preferred weapons and battle items to face wave after wave of relentless enemies before taking on a powerful final boss. The wave-style challenge offers endless action, with each run offering new strategies and combinations.
Its dynamic gameplay makes it a thrilling test of skill and adaptability for everyone. That’s not all, the Devs also promise to bring about new extra gameplay modes to be revealed soon.
New Skin Collaboration
The developers have teased that an upcoming collaboration skins event will be included in the new Ranked Season 7 update. According to leaks, a Jujutsu Kaisen skins Collab might just be the upcoming collaboration event scheduled to release soon. Thus, we should be expecting a skin for Gojo and Yuji soon in Honor of Kings.
Battlefield and System adjustments
The devs have scheduled lots of update changes to release from the start of Ranked Season 7 in HOK. These changes include 36 hero Balance adjustments, 17 Gorge battlefield upgrades, and 44 system improvements. This, in turn, makes the game much more balanced for everyone.
Honor Of Kings Ranked Season 7 Update Size and Downloads
The Developers have optimized the entire update process. First, you’ll have to download the 280+ MB update package from the store, to be able to access Season 7. On logging in, a 150 MB in-game update will unlock the full updates made to the gorge battlefield. While the remaining 800+MB update expansion resources can be downloaded whenever you choose.
On completely downloading the Season 7 update, you can then claim a free Skin selection pack that lets you choose one of the following skins:
- Huang Zhong’s Captain Cannon skin
- Yang Jian’s Siegebreaker skin
- Liu Bei’s Desert Ranger skin
