I have divided them into three major tiers: Strong (S), Good (A), and Average (B). This list includes only the Hero and Legendary-ranked Magic Dolls, as they are the strongest and best options in the game.

Top 5 Magic Dolls in Journey of Monarch
1. Kraken
Kraken is a legendary ranked Magic Doll, and one of the best magic dolls in the game, thanks to his highly advantageous Owned Effect and Deck Effect for your hero team. His owned effect grants +1% Attack Speed, while his Deck Effect provides +3% Attack Speed at base level.
Notably, Kraken is the only magic doll in the game that increases the attack speed stats of your heroes. If you are lucky enough to obtain him from the Magic Doll Summon, make sure to prioritize upgrading him to reach maximum potential.
2. Kurtz
Both the hero Kurtz and the Magic Doll, Kurtz are very useful in this game, making them great choices for clearing the stages effectively. Kurtz, the magic doll’s effects are highly useful, with his Owned Effect providing +10 Accuracy and his Deck Effect offering +1 Accuracy at the base level.
Accuracy plays a very important role in this game as successful hero attacks can trigger additional effects. For instance, for the hero Kurtz, his Shield Strike skill reduces the target’s accuracy by 16% for 3 seconds and also negates damage received by all allies for 1.5 seconds, but only if his attack is successful.
3. Capricus
Capricus is an excellent Magic Doll to increase the Evasion stats of your team. Similar to the hero Capricus, this magic doll is also very effective, and since both are legendary ranked, you should prioritize obtaining and upgrading them.
Capricus’ Owned Effect grants +10 Evasion, while his Deck Effect provides +1 Evasion, which is very beneficial for the heroes to dodge attacks from both the horde of enemies and powerful bosses.
4. Death Knight
Firstly, Death Knight is a cool-looking Magic Doll, and secondly, he is also very useful for your team. This Magic Doll enhances your heroes’ attack stats, allowing you to clear the stages more efficiently.
His Owned Effect provides a +10 Attack, and his Deck Effect provides a +1 Attack to all the heroes. Do remember that these additional effects will only apply if you organize these Magic Dolls in the Deck.
5. Arpier
Arpier, despite being a Hero-ranked Magic Doll, is very useful in the game. Among the Hero-ranked Magic Dolls, I find him and Necromancer very valuable.
Arpier’s Owned Effect grants +1 Attack, and his Deck Effect offers +1 HP Recovery per second, which I believe is pretty important for sustaining your team in this game. Moreover, obtaining Arpier is not that hard, compared to the rarer legendary ranked Magic Dolls.

I have created this Magic Dolls tier list to help you conquer the various stages by building powerful formation effects that can properly support your heroes and Monarch. However, keep in mind that what may work for others, might not suit your strategy, playstyle, and team composition, so feel free to experiment by assigning different magic dolls and see what works for you the best.
